So rather than centering on a person's identity, whether it's their ethnicity or their age or any other number of identity characteristics that a lot of other apps specialize on, we focused on desire.

And then we try to create a community of people who uphold our values, one of which is inclusivity, through a number of different ways. And kind of the most important is that we have a community rating feature. So to the extent that you interact with someone, you can rate your interaction with them based on our community guidelines of inclusivity, pleasure positivity, and enthusiastic consent.
And then that is made, you know, publicly viewable to everyone that sees each person's profile and so we're trying to create some accountability right so it's not you know you can go and have some NSA fun but you know there's there's a little bit of accountability for um you know there's there's transparency and accountability on the platform so that we can create a little bit more trust and so it's not not, it's not, you know, quite so anonymous as, as, uh, as on other apps. What is pleasure positivity? Pleasure positivity is, is sex positivity. We can't use the word sex in the app store. So we have to, we have to dart around it a little bit. And this idea just popped in my mind. And, you know, it seemed really fun. It was obviously tongue in cheek from, you know, it sort of references head, which is oral sex oriented, right? That's one of the common names for oral sex.
Then it sort of captures the word eros. And it's also a little bit of a play on the term hetero for heterosexual. And I do get this question, is this app only for heterosexuals? And no, it's really meant to be for people of all sexualities. And so the name hetero, it's sort of poking fun at the sexuality boxes that society puts us in. Because I think those labels can be important and they can be really helpful, you know, identify as gay and pansexual, but they shouldn't limit us. They shouldn't limit our ability to explore and experiment.
And so, yeah, we are kind of like poking fun at the notions of sexuality boxes very directly. I love that. And I love that you spelled thought as T-H-O-T, thought experiment. I was like, that's fucking awesome. Whoever thought of that, if it was you, pat on the back. Thank you. For my listeners, if you don't know what that term means, it's fairly new, but it's basically like slutty. Yeah. Yeah. We're trying to, we're trying to like, you know, take these terms that, that kind of can have a negative connotation and put them on their head and, and have fun with it and laugh about it a little bit.

And that can be in a lot of different dimensions.
That can be I'm seeking'm seeking a specific relationship type so for instance i'm looking for someone who's also into cuckolding right um and what the app will do is it will show you all the people who've selected that that are nearby to you um so the closest people will be at the top of the app and then it goes on further and further down. And so, you know, in areas like New York City, where we launched, you open the app, and they're just there are a lot of people there. In other areas, there aren't as many yet but we are growing really really quickly um so um every day you know more and more people are joining so well i think it's really amazing because i've talked about this uh well fuck did i have i talked about it on the podcast i've definitely talked a lot about it in my pillow talk events. And I've talked about it a lot to my girlfriends and my women friends in the lifestyle.
But like several years ago, probably about four years ago, I was just really busy. My life was chaotic. It was just nuts. And I remember one evening and I was like, I was just like, man, I would really like to just lay back, watch a movie and have somebody eat my pussy. That's all I want right now.
