Single Male Night
Also called: SM Night
A specific club or party night that admits single men alongside the usual couples and single females. Many clubs run them weekly or monthly; some are themed around hotwifing or BBC interest. Behaviour standards on these nights are typically stricter, reflecting the higher-stakes etiquette environment.
The economics of admission tilt clubs heavily toward couple and single-female attendance, so the standard mid-week or weekend night excludes single men entirely or admits them at a steep multiple of the couple price. A dedicated single-male night reverses that calculus on a scheduled basis: men can attend without a female partner, women and couples are still welcome, and the gender ratio is allowed to drift toward parity. Some clubs schedule them weekly, others monthly, often pegged to themes that single men particularly seek out — hotwifing scenes, bull-and-couple play, BBC-themed nights, or specific groups that travel together.
Behavior standards on these nights run noticeably tighter than on couples nights. Etiquette guides published by clubs and lifestyle veterans converge on the same short list: be freshly groomed and well dressed, introduce yourself to both members of every couple rather than just the woman, take no as a complete sentence the first time, never approach playing couples uninvited, and stay sober enough to read the room. Photography of any kind is universally forbidden. Several large clubs run a one-strike rule: a single complaint about pressure or boundary-pushing typically means a permanent ban, since the club's couples-and-single-female base is what lets the night happen at all.
The economics for the single male are still steep — door fees of 75 to 175 USD are typical — and many veterans treat their first single-male night as a learning visit, observing the space and meeting other regulars before attempting to play. Clubs that run successful single-male nights generally credit a strong and visible enforcement culture more than any feature of the venue itself.
Related Terms
- Single Male — A man without a primary partner who attends lifestyle events on his own. Single males are typically restricted to specific nights, vetted carefully, and often have to meet stricter behaviour and dress standards than couples. The community-side reason is asymmetric demand: most couples seek other couples or single women, not single men.
- Lifestyle Club — A members-only social venue catering to swingers and the broader lifestyle community. Clubs vary by format — see "on-premise" and "off-premise" — and typically restrict admission to couples and single women, with limited single-male nights.
- Bull — The third-party male partner in a hotwife or cuckold dynamic — typically dominant, well-endowed, or otherwise selected for sexual prowess. The bull has sex with the wife while the husband watches, participates, or stays away by arrangement.
