In the future I will not assume someone contacting us without showing up as having viewed us to be a warning sign.
In this current situation that had me raise the question, it just happens to have coincided with someone who does not appear to be serious. So, my suspicions were correct, but not due to their not having showed up as viewing us.

Mine is almost always turned off. I usually only open profiles by accident as I'm scrolling past and having it turned off eliminates conversation about that. Plus, when it was on and I'd go to clear it out, the same people would show up over and over but never write, which just weirded me out. I'd rather not know.
My profile has repeated viewers by the same couples , men, single
ladies for three years. Just peeking, I guess. I have no problem with it.
Yes we do keep ours off.. doesn't matter who really viewed our profile.
We know what we enjoy and what kind of couple or single person we seek and do so frequently...

From our perspective there is no warning sign or weirdness here. A lot of people have the Who Viewed Me feature disabled. While ours is currently enabled, we’ve had it off in the past. We really don’t care who has viewed our profile. We figure that if they are interested, they’ll contact us, otherwise they can view us a hundred times and it wouldn’t matter.
On the other hand, we realize that seeing who viewed your profile is important to some folks. Some folks even get annoyed if they are viewed multiple times. For that reason, when we are actively searching for couples, and we may perv a profile dozens of time before making a decision to contact, our Who Viewed Me will be turned off.
It lets them peruse profile pages without the other people knowing. It also turns off their Who Viewed Me display so they don't know who's checking them out. It does seem a bit weird to us, too.

Why is it that sometimes we are contacted by message saying they like our profile but they do not show up in our viewed me section?
