Happens to us quite frequently too. There are messages but the system fails to load them. As a policy, SLS is forcing this broken messaging system down our throats. Most people we know switch to other systems as soon as that initial contact is made. The news of the negative user opinions of the SLS changes are all over swinging related web sites so expect more defections to come!

Different issue, but was just using it and if I ended the message with any sort of punctuation, it wouldn't send. Press the buttin to send and it just disappears.

We have had the red message notice and then nothing. What gives????

I can report identical symptoms. Early Sunday morning (2:00am EDT?) I got the red New Message notification. Opened Messages, but nothing new ... AND the conversation I started a few hours before was completely gone.
Today (Sunday afternoon) I sent a message to that same member to say the conversation was gone. Now, that new message is gone.
It's frustrating wondering if they ever got my message. I hate to bother them.
On a related note, when a member deletes a conversation on their end, does it delete it on my end as well??? That could explain these missing conversations.

I've had a complete conversation disappear between last night and this morning.

I noticed today that there is a connection between the app notifications and missing messages.
Friday night I saw a notification, but the message was gone when I opened the app, and when I visit the site on a browser both the message and the previous conversation is missing.
I noticed the same thing this morning, someone responded to one of our messages, but the entire conversation thread is missing. (That’s passable, at least I had read it in the notification before it dissolved, but there were two others in the notification stack that I didn’t read, and which are also gone!?)
