We tend to use favorites in the same way, but sometimes more of a tagging system if one of us sees a profile that piques our interest for each other to review. Would have to agree with Sorillo though that the Friend feature seems to have been abandoned along with the wall.
Supposedly there were some stuff planned for the future that would use the friends feature. Apparently, the project appears to have been abandoned, probably turned out to cost more than expected. So now it's an orphan.
We use the favorites feature, which used to be called friends, to keep track of people we've met. You can note names and numbers, and use it to grant photo access, but what does the friends feature add? In terms of ways to connect. And is it getting used?
It doesn't give access to anything private and you'd still have to open any albums for them to view.. It's primarily for networking purposes to us. People we've met or connected with and enjoy keeping contact with we'll friend and stay in touch with.
Who uses the friends feature? Does it help you connect with others? If we accept a friend are we giving access to private photos or anything else?
