@vixenstagcouple Yes, the only place to give them access to your pics is on their profile (at least from the website). We do not use the app, so we cannot say what is allowed from the app.
We do miss the old version of friends and mail on this site.

Yep... and we get 4-5 weekly requests and now either ignore or block the ones with no photos, gumby profile.. and one liners!

If you have ticked the option to give friends access to your private pictures, they will get access once you friend them.
OP: However, let’s use some common sense, in what you describe, this isn’t like someone walking down the street, introductions being made, having a conversation, finding you have a lot in common, exchanging numbers, keeping in touch and/or visits to each other. We use our “friending” feature for those just described.

What is the purpose of the friend request? Does that give someone special access to your information or something? Just trying to figure out why so many SMs are making friend requests when they don't know us.
