See now, you did them and the rest of the community a disservice by not politely confronting them.
We have been in that situation once. And we very bluntly but politely pointed out that their stats and pics did not match the people who showed up. She was listed as 5 foot 2 and 135 lbs which was at least 100 pounds lower than her actual weight.
Hoping that being called out on it led them to update their profile. Haven't checked.
Pics updates would be nice too. Talked to a couple, looked good, Then met and were 10 to 15 yrs older. Needless to say His pic had full dark hair, in person, About bald and scraggly grey. She was ok, just age showing heavy. Be who you are, now what you wish you still were.
(Yea, we did the fake call and left. Our pet Water buffalo got loose, and we needed to go find him. LOL)
We second the auto update idea. Do it on the anniversary of when they created their profile. Never doubt ages again.
Of course, we will then be complaining about the folks who signed up and immediately subtracted 10 years from their ages.
Half the ages on profiles are incorrect, there should be a way to auto update ages on anniversary date. A lot of people join, put in their ages and never update them again....nothing like going to meet a certain age and then finding out they are 10 years older!

I'm sorry - not enough caffeine today - I meant that hovering on a laptop or desktop and it's equivalent on the phone would solve the OP's issue.

You get hover on your laptop with the cursor and the equivalent on your phone when you hold your finger on the photo. Same thing, just a slightly different method. The second isn't exactly something you'd easily figure out on your own.
I was just thinking out loud - since I'm retired and almost always near my laptop I don't use my phone for anything (except making phone calls). Then hovering over the profile picture should solve the OP's issue - right?
There is, though. Just hold a finger down on the profile photo.
I'm guessing that you are using a phone and there is no ability to hover over the profile picture and get more information - correct?
Totally agree! It's even miss annoying now that search and sort is broken for events. We are paying customers! They should get on top of this asap
It would make it easier if they would put our ages on the small profile. I hate pinging a profile to see a 22yr old. We're in our 50's. Like seeing kids.
