EDEX anyone?

I used Edex a few months after my prostate operation. My advice? Don't use it. It's very painful due to the alcohol in the formulation. It's much more expensive than other options. I got a decent erection but the pain was there as long as the erection was, before, during and after intercourse.

I have used bimix for 16 very successfully. You have to have it filled by a compounding pharmacist. Not every urologist will prescribe it but the ones who are competent with ED problems will. I found mine w=by calling a compounding pharmacist and asking them who prescribes it. I asked the doc about trimix but he said try bimix first. I did and it continues to work practically all of the time.

We do definitely still enjoy and look forward to LS parties, but we have long since found that there is little to no reason to be "nervous" about anything. I'll admit that it was kind of cool though having that nervous excitement. At one point we were probably averaging a party per week and sometimes did 2 parties in a single day (Nooner and a night time party).

Anyway, topic-wise, this sounds like the sort of thing that a compounding pharmacy may be able to do. If that were the case, I'd think that they could freshly mix up a batch of Trimix so it had a longer shelf life as well. A lot of that would depend on the age of the ingredients that made up the finished product.

"I know that, at some point after our 5th year or so in the LS that we stopped feeling that "nervous excitement" you get on the way to a LS party."

Happily that's not the case with us. Twenty years in the lifestyle and we still feel that nervous excitement every time.

I do have to wonder how much is attitude and experience as you get to a point where you've fulfilled most/all of your fantasies. I know that, at some point after our 5th year or so in the LS that we stopped feeling that "nervous excitement" you get on the way to a LS party.

It's kind of like what can happen with porn. Things that used to do it for you no longer do. Couple that with decreased testosterone and it just takes more stimulus to get that same erotic feeling you did when you first got into the LS.

This is probably more difficult to reach this state as an SM vs a couple, but the porn thing could apply to anyone. I know the porn that used to do it for me (i.e. double and triple insertions) does little for me now if the female actor comes off like a pro, which used to be what drew me to it.

I have used the EDEX injection and it worked a few years ago but last Sat night a friend used it on me and I did not get a full erection. Maybe because I didn't use a full dose. I have a VA appointment on Feb 9 and the urologist to get another injection. Glad a lady friend has volunteered to go along with me to my appointment and watch him give me the shot.

Anyone familiar with the ED aid, EDEX? I understand it is not premixed (like Trimix) but comes in an auto-injector and is mixed up as needed, so has longer shelf life than Trimix. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had experience with this. Pros and Cons would be nice.
