Shootings

The loss of life is tragic, no doubt. But depending on the circumstances involved leading up the the first shot fired, that dictates how the media will spin it. Historically accurate fact. If the guy had a .38 revolver and a lever gun, certain news channels will only focus on the motivation. If he had a G17 & an AR, certain news channels will only focus on guns he used. That's all I'm pointing out.

In Texas you don't need to steal a gun..just buy it from Wallmart

If he found it, stole it, bought legally or illegally, or fell from the sky....

There are 14 children and 1 adult dead.

Continue with your soapbox political sermon....

If he didn't use the "right" gun and especially if it was stolen. If he was a prohibited person for any of the various reasons. You probably won't hear another word from mainstream media after 24 hours. If he had the "right gun" and had it legally, it'll run on MSNBC for a week. That's just historically accurate.

@8: stories get buried all the time, if they have inconvenient facts. Both sides do it. I'm simply stating a historical fact.

Bury what?

Kids are dead.

You're playing politics. You're mentally sick.

We'll see if the major news networks bury this or not, depending on the facts that come to light.

"the shooter was an 18-year-old male who resided in Uvalde. He said it's believed the suspect, who he named as Salvador Ramos, abandoned his vehicle, then entered the school with a handgun and possibly a rifle."

They will never cease under current conditions and laws.

How many more shootings before both sides say enough is enough?

Anyone ever wonder why Europe, Asia, Africa and S.America don't have shootings as often as America?
