Republicans Got Played

He won't be able to read this, but for everyone else, I'd like to make note that while only 9 House members crossed the aisle to support the bill (at least three of whom will be gone very soon), the same bill passed the Senate 68-29.

Just because some members of Congress are straitjacket ready does not mean the entire GOP delegation is batshit.

Well for those of you who are loyal the Republican Party, what makes you think that 2023 is going to be any different? Last week's vote on the massive spending bill should be all you need to know.

I will applaud the Democrats for the way they band together to push legislation through Congress.

If you are a Republican and or conservative and you think the new House is the answer to all your problems, you are sadly mistaken. Hell, they can't even come to an agreement and be united in the cause to elect a new Speaker of the House, what makes you think they will be able to do anything of significance that requires them to be in lock step when voting on critical legislation they promised to enact!

What lies ahead will remain to be seen, but last we saw a foreshadow of how your splintered the Republican Party remains and how ineffective they will be as the majority in the House.
