Your continued statement shows that you have not read anything about Flint.
Birmingham can not do wtf it wants. It is not a separate territory away from Alabama. If Ivey and her state government mandate something, the city has to adhere to it.
Here is what is happening in regard to that concept here, locally. CA state government has mandated a lot of new housing. They have mandated that housing numbers hit a certain number by a period of time. Where I live, we have been trying to get an exemption. We suffer from something that other places do not have. We have no more undeveloped or unused land OTHER than two private golf courses and a public one. There are also a few farms as well. Even if those are razed and built with high-density housing, it still will not meet the mandate.
So go ahead, keep bantering and bitching. The case was brought it up, it was a mandate from the state and the state drove the bus. Thirty four people charged, including the REPUBLICAN governor, who mandated it . . .
But again, I guess Tuskegee never happened as well.
