Watch out for Whitey Tighty he is at Fantasy Fest every year . He has a friend that used to be a gay male dancer and he wears a sock and nothing else . It is funny how the women dislike those two.
How Crazy
FUNFOR2
Jill Biden also showed up and spoke at the celebration in Loring Park
Just seen a video from Minneapolis they had a real celebrity in their gay pride parade …The Whitey Tightey Guy . He brings his boom box and twerks on the street at Fantasy Fest every year.
@DB , that sounds crazy , and scared to go down there . Wow.
GOODENUFF
One of my kids spent 2-1/2 weeks at HCMC after a rather nasty car wreck, Cracked Sternum, broken Collar Bone, dislocated Kneecap, right Foot looked like a jigsaw puzzle, collapsed Lung.
The Surgeons there are absolutely second to none. Did one helluva job putting him back together. The rest of the Hospital staff, however, leaves very much to be desired. The nurses are lazy cows, who put out absolute minimum effort. On one occasion, his piss bottle was full, and after buzzing the Nurse Station several times with no response, he threw the dam thing through the door out into the hallway. Got into a pretty big pissing match over that one.
I about got escorted out for letting the girl at the desk know I didn't like her attitude by asking her if she gets paid extra to be a snotty bitch.
Got a Brother who flies into HCMC quite often, so whenever he dropped someone off, he would go down and check in on the kid. He's a bigger smart ass than I am, and has zero tolerance for attitude, so whenever a Nurse with an attitude would tell him he's not authorized to be in ICU, he would crack wise just to get her wound up and go storming off to get a Doc or Admin to chase him out. Since he knows all of them, they would just tell the Nurse that he's ok.
The Daughter-In-Law is terrified of driving downtown, So I would drop her off every day either in the morning, or at lunch time, and pick her up at night. I definitely saw my share of people that aren't exactly real stable that would just hang out there. At night, it could be down right scary.
I believe there is a rating system for Trauma Centers. My assessment of HCMC trauma center is my opinion- based on what I know about people personally known to me who needed their services and what others have told me abut their experiences.
I once needed the services of an ER while at my cabin in northern MN. Not serious trauma- a little incident with a not so dead as I thought fish while attempting to fillet it. Definitely needed stitches. They are a Level 4, which I believe means they have band-aids and an instruction book on how to apply one.
I wouldn't recommend that hospital to anyone. My experience- "Let's see what you have." So I remove the blood soaked towel from my hand... "GEEZ, STOP BLEEDING ON THE FLOOR!!!!"
Ummm, WTF did you think was gonna happen when I removed a blood soaked towel? I guess they were afraid blood on the floor would attract more worms than I already saw on the floor. Between that and the nurse who I watched handle a crying baby by putting her hand in it's dirty diaper, then immediately come over to prep me for stitches WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS, I wouldn't recommend the place.
Yeah, they did stitch it. Dr. Frank N Stein came to the rescue. He shooshed the nurse away and did it all himself. I watched him scrub his hands and don a pair of gloves first. 8 stitches, and I could see the bone in my hand. I keep my knives sharp, and my wits sharper.
@Good
"Most trauma centers are. But I'll tell ya what- HCMC's Level 1 Trauma Center and their trauma team MDs are 2nd to none."
That got me thinking. The level of trauma center is measurable. However, what makes a good or bad trauma center? Is that subjective?
For me, I didn't realize that the hospital that I can pretty much see from a window (it's down in a valley) is the ONLY Level 1 between LA and San Jose. Which, as the crow flies, is about 300 miles. I knew it was an important hospital because about once or twice a month, we get to hear a helicopter come in and drop someone off.
In regards to the 'take anyone' I don't know of any hospital that doesn't take anyone. I haven't heard of a hospital that asks a person, who is in shock, if they will be writing a check or paying with a credit card for the services before they perform the services.
Most trauma centers are. But I'll tell ya what- HCMC's Level 1 Trauma Center and their trauma team MDs are 2nd to none.
BUT the facility is a "Safety Net" facility- meaning they don't turn anyone away for any reason. Ever. So- many people with no money, without any insurance or any other health care provider go there for everything from a mosquito bite to cancer.
It's mosquito season- they're busy as hell.
HCMC, I'm sure it's a total nut house.
HCMC= Hennepin County Medical Center.
Probably the best trauma center in the state of MN.
What is HCMC?
One only has to spend a couple late nights at HCMC, or the 3rd precinct station house to realize that New York in no way has a monopoly on crazies.
"Some people whenever something bad happens to them, they want to lash out at anyone, to cause them pain."
And some get into their polarized political feelings, and post zany bullshit in internet forums
The more people you have together places like in New York City and including cities in California, more crazy people are going to be there. Be it drugs, psychiatric disorders, and just plain anger issues, for whatever reason Some people whenever something bad happens to them, they want to lash out at anyone, to cause them pain.
Talk about people leaving California …and other states for Texas . The upcoming UIL football season Jr High and high school season . They just announced on TV news , because of all the new schools on line they are short of Jr high and high school referees ….They are 400 officials short . …this is incredible.
HOLY SHIT!
NEWS ALERT.
There are 350mm people in the US. ONE DID SOMETHING CRAZY. STOP THE PRESSES. Let's blame it on . . . New York. Because, crazy never happens in your town.
/pfft such feux anger.
@one, Lmao. Yup
It is so crazy that people are moving out of NY and moving to South Carolina. Y'all got to figure out what y'alls problems are and fix them. We are running out of space. Keep moving South because I hear Georgia and California might have some space available.
Lmfao!!!!!!!
This is awesome. BARE is posting a topic for the very first time. I wonder who’s in the time out room?
Have you seen the video of a woman in NY, attacking people at the park and other people at outdoor cafes for no reason. How crazy is that?
