The American way does not forbid someone from being a socialist or call it. un-American to be a socialist. Indeed, one can run for election and be in the ballot as a member of the Socialist party.
The Constitution also articulate as one of the imperatives of the federal government to “promote the general welfare.”
I prefer wokeness to racism and the history of injustice in the USA to being
blind and asleep to it.
Biden was not my first choice for president. I preferred Elizabeth Warren. He’s been better than I expected in terms of what he’s proposed and where’ he’s given his time and energy. Alas, the GOP in Congress and the Senate will put their partisan interest over the good of the country and block and stall his most progressive and helpful actions to create a more perfect Union
I find AOC using social media and Twitter in a much more beneficial and truthful way than Trump, who got banned by Twitter and censored by Facebook for 6 months. AOC, for instance, did not use Twitter and media and speeches to invite a riot and violate the legal election process for certifying the election of a president.
