Free accounts can't send messages and can't read messages.

Outside contact information on a profile isn't allowed on SLS, any profiles containing that information should should not have been approved. As Melvin said, profiles you encounter with outside contact information should be reported using the button you see on the profile.

That said, it's pretty foolish to attempt to use an outside contact method unless you have messaged with the profile owner(s), feel comfortable with them and the info was provided in a private message, which Free Members can't do.

If you come across such profiles, report those profiles and then block them.

I don't know if the same holds true with the women who are seeking men, but for men seeking women be very careful with users who have free accounts, and where the pics may look too good to be true. This recently happened to someone I know from this site, and he contacted what looked like a single woman where she had her kik account in the profile somewhere. After he shared a few pics innocent, he suspected that something was off, and he didn't share any revealing pics even though she kept insisting on more pics. After he wouldn't oblige this girl (most likely a man) sent him a threatening image with supposed personal info that clearly wasn't his, and a demand for $2K or else they were going to contact every one of his friends and family about his activities.

Just be careful with who you may be talking to especially if it's a free account because they just may try to extort you too. If you suspect something shady about a profile you should report it.
