I had mine done, and it looked good, but hurt like hell. I didn’t think it did much for sensation.
I’ve also pierced my hood, and that didn’t hurt as bad, and I get much more pleasure out of it.
All piercings had to be removed for surgery, but I had the VCH one put back in when I was able too.
Pierced nips, yeah or nay .
I had both done at the same time. They were very sensitive before the piercings, but not so much after. One never healed up right and I ended up taking that one out, so now I just have the one.
I had my nipple pierced for a short time and mine never really healed, either.
So that is definitely a consideration.
To each their own. What you hear from me may be different than your experience. So take everything with a grain of salt. You know your body better than anyone else does.
My wife, as a present to herself decided to pierce her nipples. It was a birthday present. She has two hood piercings and formerly had her belly button pierced, so she knew what to expect pain wise. She went after having a cocktail and said it was not an issue for the pain.
She loved how it looked.
She hated how it felt.
She loved how it made her nipples stand up some more.
Her life with them, for about 6-8 months was interesting. My wife has slept in the nude since she was 10. She is not a person who stays asleep in one position the whole night. She moves around a LOT. She had this concern that the pierce would get caught/pull on the blankets when she slept. She tried sleeping naked for a bit and, well, the barbell did get stuck in the bottom sheet as she was turning and she screamed loud enough to wake up most of Southern California. After that, she resorted to wearing a T-shirt to bed. She called it tittie prison. She hated that.
She went from barbells to loops and back and forth to try and find a solution. All failed. She also ran into an issue that even after 6 months they still had not healed fully. She got tired of dropping her tits in the solution every night to help it heal.
In hindsight, I think if she would have found a barbell that was really close to the width of her nipple so that the ball actually pushed the nipple in on the side, she may have kept them.
As far as the lifestyle goes, somehow, someway, when people see them, they think the person is some rough and tough person. She had to slap and push a few guys who felt it was an invitation to pull her around by the loops. She is a gentle giant, not a beat me, hurt me kinda person.
So take what I wrote with a grain of salt. It may apply to you, it may not. It may give you something to think about that you have not thought about.
I (male) have both nipples pierced. The nipples are definitely more sensitive. My wife loves to suck on them and pull on the rings, and I love that too.
I'm always slightly worried about the enamel on my teeth. That doesn't mean I view pierced nipples/tongues/genitals with dismay, but I am a little cautious.
Mrs. TBR has has had her left nipple pierced for almost 20 years now.
Took it out when she was breastfeeding, but got it redone when she finished.
Everyone thinks it is cool.
It is a little more sensitive than the other side, but not much.
We have had it so long, any novelty has worn off a long time ago...
LOL
I've been pondering the thought of piercing just one nipple, concerns about it are, is it more fun to suck on a pierced nipple or does it make it more difficult. Open to people's experiences and suggestions
