Since News got shoved to Politics...
Two wars are on the edge of starting, and neither is getting much coverage. One is Ethopia and Eritrea.
The other is much closer to home. Venezuela is sending troops to "protect" Essquiebo, 2/3 of Guyana, that Venezuela says is actually occupied Venezuela, having declared the 1899 treaty with the UK bullshit and the demarcation line they agreed to to also be bullshit. A referendum will be held Sunday in Venezuela where people will yep yep yep to the governments questions asking them to confirm that Essquiebo is actually Venezuela. Venezuela is referring to this as a "special operation", which these days seems to be a popular term for declaring parts of neighboring countries theirs and then invading to "liberate" them from "occupiers".
Brazil is mobilizing troops to the area, potentially indicating they strongly believe war is imminent. Colombia dispatch their president to Venezuela to give Maduro an earful.
Oy.
