LQQK, you might want to check your Location Setting, Fred didn't post in here.

This was posted by PROFILE REVIEW in the WTF thread on5/21/18 regarding edits to profile.....I believe location is considered an edit.
“Profile edits have never been reviewed. When you edited an existing profile it would immediately go live. As of today, all profile edits will now go through an approval process, which may take up to 48 hours. All new forum threads and Hot Date postings are also going through an approval process.”

Cutting taxes and increasing spending.
What are you talking about?
" They lay out the data why this has nothing to do with the obama administration."
Fred, what you are witnessing is history deja vu. A repeat of what your St Ronnie did. Recession is just around the corner.
Fear and Loathing In SLS:
Must be the updates. Like drugs, updates around here take awhile to kick in: "We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold."
Try changing your location to Barstow, maybe the updates will kick in.
You mean your location spontaneously changed itself?
If that's the case, SLS's official answer to any sort of odd spontaneous happenings is always "that's not possible."
We have the same problem here as well. We are trying to change it back to our native city, but we do not have that option. It just says: "DEFAULT STATE". It was working fine two days ago, though. Not sure what has happened. :(
Interesting. Yesterday Profile Review posted this in the Website->KIK Advertising thread:
"The United States was removed from being member selectable quite a few years ago. This was by design. Someone needing to switch to the United States would simply need to contact one of the staff member profiles. With the new updates to the site, it was recently added back in, so members can select it themselves now."
Thanks SuperVa, I will heed your advice

Welcome to the fora...
If you've changed your profile setting to outside of the US you need customer service to change it back. The reason for this is apparently SLS sometimes trials functional memberships for free in other countries, and this prevents people from creating a free (but functional) account in another country and then switching it back to the US.
Of course, it's pretty stupid that SLS can't have some sort of way to change you back to "home" after being away, but them's the breaks. Contact customer service. If they aren't answering you, try the profile "ProfileReview". Wayne is on every day and is quick to assist.
Has anyone had issues with the location setting on their profile? I changed our location to a city we will be visiting soon and then tried to change it back to our hometown however I am unable to. Before I think it would give you the option of putting in your zip code and now when I click on the location tab, it takes me to a screen that says, “default state” but then there are no options to choose from. Then it goes to default county and city all with no way to change anything. Just wondering if it’s just me or some issue with SLS. I have emailed general support but who knows if I will get a response.
