Catfish anymore???

Danville, PA

It's not uncommon anymore for people to have phone numbers from one area code and live somewhere completely different. My cell phone number doesn't match the current area code I live in and it hasn't for the last 15 years. It's also not uncommon for people to live in one place and travel to another without updating their location on their profile.

It's probably less common though for all of the above to be true at the same time. So here's what you should be looking at.

  1. Is she a paid member? If she's free, she's scamming you.
  2. Does her profile come across as thorough and well thought out or is it just a few simple sentences? If it's just a few, she's scamming you.
  3. Does she fall in the "way too hot for you" category? You know what kind of women are typically attracted to you. If you're used to picking up 3's at a bar and this girl is like an 8 or above, then she's scamming you.
