I have gotten different messages. One says "you blocked this user" another says "this user has blocked your profile" or something close to that. I have received a message that I blocked people I have not blocked. People I tried to look at for the first time. So who knows.
ok thankyou guys ....I appreciate your help ....apparently I must have offended someone ....which I try never to do ...I just wanted to make sure I had not accidentally blocked them ...but maybe they blocked me ...
The message is the same no matter who initiated the block.
I am reasonably certain a block automatically goes both ways, regardless of who did the initial blocking. Even if you un-block someone, the block remains on the other side.
I do know from a discussion on another site that a lot of people block simply because there is no interest from one or both sides. You could have easily been blocked by someone who did not fit the criteria YOU are seeking, so they blocked you as a reminder to not bother looking back at your profile later.
I am not sure if I blocked someone accidentally or they actually blocked me ? When I hit there profile pic in who viewed me it says I blocked them? If they blocked me does it give a message saying they did ? Or a generic you blocked this profile?
