Sls has claimed the "reason" is simply a secondary step to prevent one-click accidental blocks.
It would be nice if you could later see the reason (if you initiated the block).

Actually, sometimes I am asked the reason I want to block someone. Not a match, rude...
A big problem is that there's no second step to blocking someone. I'd like to see an "Are you sure you want to block AssDestroyerOfDoom1234?" verification pop-up to make accidental blocks less likely.
My husband has fucked up several times blocking people as he's scrolling. The problem is he can't remember who they were so we can't contact the site to unblock them. Oh well.
We've been blocked by people who we think are total strangers. We don't know if it's an accident, or if they think they know us (and think we suck) or if they actually do know us (and think we suck).
We've had a couple of odd experiences of being blocked, but most are random. One time we met some people through some mutual friends. Chatted a bit, that's all. Next day they blocked us. What the hell did we do or say? Awkward since we have mutual friends and still continue to be around each other at times.
I suspect that the "you have blocked this user" tag goes up whether you have blocked or if they have blocked. Which is confusing, because now you're thinking you fucked up.
We sometimes click on a profile and it says "you have blocked this user" but in fact we have not blocked them. I only have two people blocked on this site. Does anyone else have this problem?
