The Tudor House: Circus of Unearthly Delights

Special Event Something… unusual has rolled into town. (And by unusual we don’t just mean Ash’s fashion sense for these events.) Bright lights in the distance. Otherworldly music drifts in through the trees. A glittering silhouette of something massive being assembled just out of sight. Someone swears they saw a tightrope strung between two points that absolutely should not be able to support it. We didn’t ask too many questions. That felt like the right call. We’re bringing you The Circus of Unearthly Delights. For one night, The Tudor House is transforming into something between a traveling circus, a decadent sideshow, and a place where the line between performance and participation gets… a little blurry…. So, you know… Kind of a normal night but with more clowns than usual. This is a night of spectacle. Of curiosity. Of stepping just a little closer to the center ring than you probably meant to. Join us under the eerie, eerie big top. Please Note: If you have not attended before, you must go to www.thetudorhouse.org to fill out the application and complete the vetting and/or vouching process before your application will be accepted. New guests will be asked to schedule a vetting call or be vouched for by a current attendee. This is a swinger-focused event. It is primarily designed for couples, and we may limit the number of single attendees. ? What to Expect A night that feels a little surreal in the best possible way. Like waking up in a strange place only to realize it’s completely full of cotton candy. We’ll have circus sideshow challenges, performances (volunteers needed!! Please reach out to us if you have circus performance experience or a talent you would like to show off), and games that spice things up. If you would like to volunteer as a performer or to run one of the carnival games, please let us know! Expect music, spectacle, and unearthly attractions. You never need to participate or perform. All activities are strictly optional and consent always comes first. ?? Games & Attractions ?? Sideshow Showdowns Test your luck, test your skill, against another guest! Simple games. Slightly higher stakes. Winners walk away with glory. Losers walk away with… an experience. ?? Carnival Challenges Scattered throughout the house will be carnival games! You know the type… Throw the darts at the balloons, shoot out the target, pick the matching duck from a pool of identical ducks…The kind that are endlessly frustrating and so much fun! Prizes may include tokens, titles, or being pointed toward your next “opportunity.” You can exchange tokens at the end of the night for some faaaaaaabulous prizes! (Like sex toys. This is the circus of unearthly delights, after all.) ?? The Wheel of Delights At the center of the house will be a spinning wheel. Landing on a space may result in wonderful outcomes… or in you singing showtunes in your underwear. Best of luck! If you would like to run one of the games as an unearthly circus performer, please let us know! ?? Dungeon and Play Space The dungeon will be open during the night for those who wish to use it. Equipment includes: St. Andrew’s Cross Spanking bench Chain spiderweb Reverse glory hole Coffin glory hole Massage table Beds and aftercare spaces Clean gear after use. Respect the space and each other. ?? Dress Code Suggested: Circus or sideshow, fantastically or diabolically so. Think performers, ringmasters, acrobats, illusions, or something that simply feels bold, expressive, and a little theatrical. Leather, lace, harnesses, velvet, fishnets, and dramatic pieces that draw attention. Wear what makes you comfortable, wear something a little wild and fae, or wear a piece that makes you part of the show ;) Keep it vanilla to the door and when outside. ?? Overnight Stay Crash space is available. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to stay so we can plan breakfast. Morning will include pancakes and coffee. After 3:00 AM, shared sleeping areas become quiet spaces. ?? A Note About Allergies Two cats live here. They are friendly, curious, and would like to run away to join the circus. Please do not let them outside under any circumstances. The outside world is significantly less entertaining and significantly more full of hungry coyotes than they realize. ?? Consent & Community Consent is mandatory. Ask first. Respect limits. Treat the home and each other with care. You attend at your own risk.
