Give Rope a Chance Intensive: Foundation to Suspension

The "Foundation to Suspension Intensive" is an accelerated one-day course that guides participants through the entire progression of rope bondage, from foundational ties to full suspension. This immersive experience is designed to build skills efficiently in a supportive environment. Participants will learn essential techniques, including a Basic Chest Harness, Figure 8 Chest Harness, Gunslinger Harness, and Gunslinger Hip Harness, as well as uplines such as the Y-Knot, Figure 8 Friction Hitch, and Tension Lock-Off. The course will culminate in a face-up, hands-free hammock-style suspension.

The intensive format provides individualized support, with instructors observing and guiding participants throughout each stage of learning. This course is suitable for rope tops, bottoms, and self-riggers. While having a partner is beneficial, it is not requiredmost techniques can be practiced individually, and we will assist in finding partners if needed. Pairing must always be consensual. Whether new to rope or looking to refine your skills, this intensive focuses on core techniques, risk awareness, and effective negotiation.
