For the next installment of our new "Art of Touch" series, we welcome you and your partner to jump feet first into the intimate world of foot massage. A foot massage is not only a gesture of affection and care, but also promotes relaxation and relieves tension. This workshop is perfect for couples looking to deepen their connection through touch and acts of service.

In this fun and engaging session, youll learn the basics of foot anatomy and discover how to give a soothing foot massage that will leave both you and your partner feeling rejuvenated. Our friendly instructor will guide you through simple yet effective techniques that you can easily apply at home.

What to Expect:

  • Discover Foot Anatomy: Learn about the structure of the foot and why its such a powerful area for relaxation and connection.
  • Hands-On Techniques: Practice easy-to-follow massage techniques tailored to various areas of the foot that will enhance intimacy and alleviate common discomforts. These include pressure points, passive foot stretches, and oil massage.
  • Body Mechanics for Comfort: Understand how to position your hands and body to minimize fatigue and extend the longevity of your massage sessions.


This workshop is designed to create a nurturing space for you and your partner to connect on a deeper level, all while learning a skill that brings comfort and joy. Join us for an afternoon of relaxation, touch, and connection that you can carry into your daily life!

What to Bring:

Mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own massage table or cushions according to your comfort level. This workshop will be taught on the floor, but can be adapted to a massage table to accommodate mobility restrictions.
Wear athletic clothing you can move easily in.

Instructor Bio:

Tessa is a regular volunteer at Subspace Seattle with a bachelors degree in kinesiology and exercise science, and is a professional bodyworker by trade. She has over 180 hours of volunteer experience in sports rehabilitation facilities and has been a professors assistant for a functional anatomy course. She looks forward to sharing some of her knowledge in the hopes that it will enrich your play and encourage a sense of empowerment and body positivity.

Doors at 11:15, workshop will start at 11:30 sharp!
