  • Rope (46mm natural fiber recommended)
  • Yoga mat or blanket
  • Water
  • Optional: Vegan/plant-base snacks only or non-alcoholic drinks to share
(No animal products, no messy foods. This is a vegan and sober space.)

Do I need to bring my own rope?
Not required, but preferred. We have loaner ropes available in limited supply.

What kind of rope should I bring?
Natural fibers like hemp, jute, or cotton are best. Thickness should be between 48 mm, and length should be around 2332 feet. If you have a grass allergy, synthetic options like nylon or posh are okay.

Which ropes should I avoid?
Please avoid hardware store rope. Its usually treated with chemicals and not safe for the body. It can also be rough, stiff, and uncomfortable on skin.

Do I need a partner?
Nope! Youre welcome to come solo. You can negotiate to tie with someone in the class, but theres no guarantee. Many of the ties taught can be done as self-ties.

Where can I buy rope?
Many online retailers sell quality rope. If youre in a hurry, check a local sex shop and look for rope made of a single material like jute, hemp, cotton, or nylon.
