Most lifestyle clubs are dressy — cocktail attire is the safe default. Men typically wear collared shirts or dressier; jeans-and-tee shirt gets you turned away at the door. Women have wider latitude, from dresses to lingerie to themed outfits. Many clubs run themed nights (lingerie, fetish, masquerade, all-white) where the dress code is the entire entertainment — read the invite carefully and dress for the specific night, not generically. Comfortable shoes matter more than they look like they should; couples who dance for two hours in shoes they cannot walk in invariably regret it.
