What does ENM stand for?
ENM is "ethical non-monogamy" — an umbrella term for any romantic or sexual arrangement where everyone involved has explicitly agreed that exclusivity is not required. It includes swinging, polyamory, open relationships, and relationship anarchy. The "ethical" part is doing real work: ENM is what separates honest non-monogamy from cheating. The closely related abbreviation "CNM" (consensual non-monogamy) is used interchangeably in most communities.
