Update 6.9.16

Dear Members,

We’ve been working on an update to address the issue with the profiles being periodically removed from the Who Viewed Me list.

The update has been applied and we believe it should resolve this issue for most members.

If you were affected (your Views list was previously automatically reset) and currently have the Who Viewed Me feature enabled, the following should happen:

- Previous views which were removed from your list should be restored (this data is being backed up during the Preview period in case of accidental deletion).

- Views should no longer be automatically reset / removed throughout the day.

Please post here if you continue to experience this or any other issues with the Who Viewed Me feature - CustomerService and TechSupport will not be able to provide assistance during this Preview.

*** Note:

The initial post and the FAQ and Answers post have answers to many of the questions already asked about this feature. Please read them before asking a question which has already being answered.

Thank you,

b. Microsoft Edge browser should not be used to Enable or Disable Views at this time.

--- FAQ and Answers ---

1. Does the Flyover (hovering over a profile) count as a View?
Answer: No

2. If I Disable Views, will other members still see that I viewed their profiles in the past?
Answer: Yes. Your profile is not deleted from other member's Views list if you disable the Views feature. However, new visits to profiles are not recorded / displayed while the Who Viewed Me feature is disabled.

3. How can I Opt out / Disable Views?
Answer: Views can be Disabled and Re-Enabled by clicking the Settings (Gear) icon at the top right of the Who Viewed Me section.

4. How can I increase my profile Views?
Answer: The Better Profiles forum has a wealth of great ideas from other members on how to improve profiles to make them (and you) more interesting to members. Check it out.

5. If I view a profile 100 times during a 7 day period, how many times will my profile be listed on their Views list?
Answer: 1. Repeated views from the same profile over a 7 day period will show only the original view on the list.

6. What's the default order for profiles listed?
Answer: On the Home and View More pages, profiles are listed in the order (most recent views with profile pics first). The View More page will also include an option to sort / view profiles by the most recent whether or not the profile has a picture as well as by distance when it's completed.

Thank you for your continued support.
EatMe, don't know about other single guys, but you've effectively prevented me from viewing your profile. So, eat me. Heh.

Hey now! We have SMs blocked and they are showing up on our "Who viewed me"! This needs fixed! If we choose to block them, it's only fair they not be able to look.

Grrr!........

"I'm thinking that if there blocking me as a group i.e. single men "

Maybe there just blocking people who use the words there, their, and they're, but do so incorrectly.

But to be serious (which is sorta funny), I have zero problems with letting couples view my profile even though theirs (there's, they're?) isn't open to me. If you actually think about it for a second, you'll realize why you shouldn't have a problem with it either.

Hey Gumby...

Something just hit me.

The thing that you're talking about, would it be similar in any way to a guy who hides all of his pics from others, but he can still go around checking out the pics on every other profile?

Or would that be something totally different? I'm just pic-curious.

I'm sure this has already been addressed but I could not find it, so here goes. This seems to be a good feature but seems to have a few bugs yet. One of the issues I have and it's just not with this new beta feature, this feature just lets it come to light. As a single male, we as a group have been blocked by both couples and other single males. My issue is that they can still cruise my profile and I can now see that they have with the new feature but I'm still blocked from viewing there profile. This is something that should be looked into and fixed. I'm thinking that if there blocking me as a group i.e. single men that then single men should not be an option for them to search and same with any person blocking a group. There is a feature for blocking an individual and they should use that for blocking a person. As a paid member I feel like them being able to see my profile when I cant see theirs is B.S. I hope this is clear enough to understand but if not hit me up.

Sweetie, I've already told you that the next time that LBD garners a Who-Viewed-Me from FunAhoy, I want it to be on the floor next to the bed. ;-)

Yeppers. And it's a pity you couldn't enjoy my straight up deadpan expression while delivering that line. And yes, there are wonderful ways I could mess with you. It's a pity both of us had trains to catch when we met for lunch.

On topic, I'm about to go view your profile. You can find evidence of my doing so by clicking on the Who Viewed Me tab (it's on the home page). ;-)

"short answer? on the SLS "Home" page "

Where is the home page?

New Orleans, LA, Us

Home page, below Events and above Newest Matches.

I have been a lifetime member for some time and I have never seen a " whos viewed me feature" where are you hiding it? ;) Paul

NJ - do you need more super glue to put your exploded head back together?

~rabbit~

That should be the number of total pics on the profile. They can be divided in my ways between public, private, and personal.

Apple Valley, CA, Us

whats the little number in the bottom right corner of the small thumbnail profiles.... in who's viewed me???

is that number an indication of how many times our profile was viewed???

Bay Head, NJ, Us

The gold frame is for paid and lifetime members, the silver frame is for free members.

Lakeville, PA, Us

i like it - i like knowing if someone viewed me..... if i sen them an email, and i see they viewed my profile and did not respond .....well at least i know they saw it and chose not to reply ..... which means there is no need for me to send another email.....

Franklin, TN, Us

What does the gold frame around the pic mean?

melbnzMember

What do the letters and or numbers above a thumbnail mean?
And why does it seem like everyone on here wants to have sex?
Would anyone like to have sex with me? Is that ok to ask? TYIA BNZ

How come everyone has blue or red dot and no green nor yellow? Afterall, they are two of the four gumbies.

And what does Str and Bi in the bottom portion of the thumbnail mean?

What do the color ball indicate in the bottom left corner and the number in the bottom right corner

"Consider that a wink..."

May have to borrow that.

Houston, TX

What is the purpose of this little addition? Others look and we are suppose to see they did and read their profile and email them? I just turned it off,, who the hell cares who looks. If we are interested we email, most the time we have seen the profiles, they arent more interesting than they were before,,

Alpharetta, GA, Us

"And if our pics are open, consider that a "wink"."

Never thought of that one. Pretty cool idea though.
