Update 6.9.16

Dear Members,

We’ve been working on an update to address the issue with the profiles being periodically removed from the Who Viewed Me list.

The update has been applied and we believe it should resolve this issue for most members.

If you were affected (your Views list was previously automatically reset) and currently have the Who Viewed Me feature enabled, the following should happen:

- Previous views which were removed from your list should be restored (this data is being backed up during the Preview period in case of accidental deletion).

- Views should no longer be automatically reset / removed throughout the day.

Please post here if you continue to experience this or any other issues with the Who Viewed Me feature - CustomerService and TechSupport will not be able to provide assistance during this Preview.

*** Note:

The initial post and the FAQ and Answers post have answers to many of the questions already asked about this feature. Please read them before asking a question which has already being answered.

Thank you,
Gator...

There is a way to do this, we stumbled upon by accident. Click "view more" in the "who viewed me" bar, then click the calendar icon in the sort options. It will show show both profiles with and without pics that viewed you.

This is when using the site on pc or laptop. Not sure if a phone or the app works the same

I would like to see views from folks who do not have profile pics (not an option of selection currently) and also a mile range limit like what is available on the Search function. And there should be an option to have views set up from a certain date range like past week, past month, etc so you can see who has active profiles and who does not.

Huh. SLS used to explain things? That's...unexpected.

Anyway I get hundreds of views per week, almost all from a couple thousand miles away. Since I doubt 30-something guys in New Jersey are searching for 97 year olds up near the western Canadian border, the logical inference is they're forum lurkers.

Yeah, could just be that or even just accidental clicks.

I know this is an old post, but was wondering if someone hovering over a thumbnail in say, a forum post, will show that person on the "Who Viewed Me" section of the hovered-over person's Home page? The FAQ entry says "No", but a lot has changed since then.

Perhaps I'm trying to make sense where there is none, but just trying to understand why someone with an upper age limit of 40, as an example, is clicking on a profile where the youngest person is 55.

I would like to see when a person viewed my profile. The way it is now it could be yesterday or two years ago

Other LS sites have the "Who Have I Viewed" feature. It's actually a good one to have, and I'd like to see it here. Can't tell you how many times I've clicked a profile because I didn't recognize the main photo or tagline, and went "Oh. I remember them now. I'm not even CLOSE to what they're looking for."

I have never heard of a feature such as you mentioned. I think others probably utilize the 'notes' feature for this type of thing - not quite as user-friendly as a LIST.

wonderful .... 6 of the 8 profiles that viewed me on my main page I cannot view because single males are blocked.... what a stupid feature....

stalker alert.....

We agree with Plainfield on this one. If someone won't let me view their profile, they shouldn't be able to view mine. Period.

Plainfield, it’s because single males have, as a whole, not you individually, been a huge pain in the ass for couples. Super annoying and don’t read profiles. Some couples want a single male, but don’t want 300 emails a day of “Want me to fuck your wife?” Or “Hey” or “trade pics?”. I opened ours to single males for a day, and we got like 30 bs emails and pms. It sucks, but it’s the way this game is played. With some couples, the single males will just have to wait to be contacted, which is why you’ll see some look at your profile to see if there’s a match, while not allowing you to see there’s. Don’t take it personally. Be a cool mother fucker and shit will work out for you. Be like some of the single dudes, and well, you know. We aren’t looking for single dudes, which is why they’re blocked by us, but you won’t see us cruising the profiles either. Good luck dude. I’m sure it’ll work out just fine for you. Bnz

I’m a new member, and there’s been a number of users that have ‘viewed me’ recently, and more than once. However, when I click on their profile, it comes back to ‘This user does not want to be contacted by single males...’. Now, call me crazy, but...if those users don’t want to be contacted by single males, shouldn’t single males be excluded from their search based on their settings? And, if they don’t want to be viewed by single males, why would they be able to have the ‘luxury’ of viewing single males. I understand that they may change their minds, and want to search for single males, but they should have to change that in their settings...my opinion.

It normally wouldn’t bother me, but I’ve had a few people view me, more than a few times, and I can’t view them because they’ve set their settings so that I can’t.

The number indicates the number of pics in the profile's galleries.

This is an old thread it seems, but what does the number on the bottom right of a profile in WVM mean?

So who is it who are you would you like to have fun

Zak,

There are couples who believe that multiple profile views constitutes stalking. We know of one such couple that blocked us, and I believe that's the reason. We had sent an introductory e-mail, got a very favorable reply, agreed we should meet when we were in their area, then blocked.

Our opinion is that we are flattered when couples look at our profile over and over.

So we just turned off he Who Viewed Me feature. Yes we miss seeing who has looked at us, but we don't risk making anyone feel uncomfortable.

So.....would it be safe to say.....anyone that has viewed our profile more then 3 times should respond to an e-mail?.......it would be nice if there was a counter to keep track of how many times a profile has viewed us or how many time we could have viewed them.

Charles Town, WV, Us

If they have the WVM feature disabled, you will not see them and they will not see you. Perv back at them and giggle because they can't see you.

There is difference in straight and str8. Just because they look, doesn't mean they aren't curious about you two and I don't mean bi.

Sokazy, THAT is the attitude to have. Especially for single guys, the more folks who look at their profile the better, even if they aren't currently looking for SMs. Because that may just be temporary, they may be concentrating on couples now, but a month or two down the line they might want to concentrate on finding compatible guys. Or if they're hundreds of miles away, they may be contemplating a permanent move to the area, or a short trip and they want to see the "lay of the land" so to speak. Pun, totally not intended. Totally.

You never know what it could be, so it's usually in your best interest to have lots of views.

We agree a wink button would be nice but then again whats wrong with just sending an e-mail...lol. We would also like to see a delete button for a profile that viewed us but we have no interest in and be able to save the ones that we are interested in.

As for all the views that are 500 miles plus away we just figured its from being on the forum pages or going into chat rooms. Everyone out of curiosity clicks on a chatters profile to check them out.

We also think it would be very cool to combine chat and the forum together or put more permanent chat topics so some rooms can stay active like "Lifestyle Questions & Chat" also there is a MMF, FFM ,Bi-Couples rooms how about a MFMF, FMMF, Couples for Couples rooms would be nice. It could help a little bit with the on going frustration of the bombardment of single guys in the rooms.

For some reason it looks like my profile is being looked at by couples 400 to 900 miles away,?????

Charles Town, WV, Us

Does sound good to have date stamps associated with the view, yet we expect no response if we are just looking, which doesn’t show an interest, so we take the views with a grain of salt.

What NiceGuy said.

There's a not insignificant number of folks who are open to meeting/playing with SMs but they block them just to keep the torrent of emails and IMs down to a minimum. At some point, those folks may change their preferences as their tastes change. Wouldn't you want them to already have an idea if you're the sort of guy they'd like to consider?

It appears that when someone shows up in "who viewed me" that I can not view them back ? People That have viewed me in the past and I have viewed them can be viewed but new views always say "no single males " I dont have a problem with anyone viewing me as long as they are open to my view as well ! So people who view singel males should not be able to block them ! Thanks: Kevin

Stuart, Florida

I thinknthis " who viewed me "is a great feature ! However I think it should be modified so that you can only view profiles that your own profile is open for review ! It is creepy that people view my profile then have me blocked from viewing their profile !The only option is to block people from viewing my profile which kind of defeats the whole purpose of being on here !Kevin
