Who Viewed Me Feature PREVIEW

<p><strong>Update 6.9.16</strong></p>

<p>Dear Members,</p>

<p>We&rsquo;ve been working on an update to address the issue with the profiles being periodically <strong>removed from the Who Viewed Me list</strong>.</p>

<p>The update has been applied and we believe it should resolve this issue for most members.</p>

<p>If you were affected (your Views list was previously automatically reset) and currently have the Who Viewed Me feature enabled, the following should happen:</p>

<p><strong>- Previous views which were removed from your list should be restored (this data is being backed up during the Preview period in case of accidental deletion).</strong></p>

<p><strong>- Views should no longer be automatically reset / removed throughout the day.</strong></p>

<p>Please post here if you continue to experience this or any other issues with the Who Viewed Me feature - CustomerService and TechSupport will not be able to provide assistance during this Preview.</p>

<p>We'd like to thank everyone for your overwhelmingly positive and constructive feedback.</p>

<p>Below are some of the most frequently asked questions along with answers.</p>

<p><strong>--- Support ---</strong></p>

<p><strong>If your <em>Who Viewed Me</em> setting appears to turn off automatically / when you log in</strong>, please let us know which device (phone or computer) as well as which browser and operating system you are using. Also, do you experience the same issue when using a different browser? Please post these and other relevant information here. In order to provide assistance, we need to know the configuration where the issue is being experienced.</p>

<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> If using Internet Explorer, please ensure that the browser is set to load a new copy of each page every time it's visited.</p>

<p>a. In IE, go to the Tools menu > Internet Options > Settings Button > Select "Every time I visit the webpage" then click OK. This setting should be enabled before enabling or disabling Views in IE.</p>

<p>b. Microsoft Edge browser should not be used to Enable or Disable Views at this time.</p>

<p><strong>--- FAQ and Answers ---</strong></p>

<p>1. Does the Flyover (hovering over a profile) count as a View?<br />
Answer: No</p>

<p>2. If I Disable Views, will other members still see that I viewed their profiles in the past?<br />
Answer: Yes. Your profile is not deleted from other member's Views list if you disable the Views feature. However, new visits to profiles are not recorded / displayed while the Who Viewed Me feature is disabled.</p>

<p>3. How can I Opt out / Disable Views?<br />
Answer: Views can be Disabled and Re-Enabled by clicking the Settings (Gear) icon at the top right of the Who Viewed Me section.</p>

<p>4. How can I increase my profile Views?<br />
Answer: The <a href="https://www.swinglifestyle.com/forums/Successful_Swinging/Better_Profiles/forumid_1118/viewforum.cfm" target="_blank">Better Profiles forum</a> has a wealth of great ideas from other members on how to improve profiles to make them (and you) more interesting to members. Check it out.</p>

<p>5. If I view a profile 100 times during a 7 day period, how many times will my profile be listed on their Views list?<br />
Answer: 1. Repeated views from the same profile over a 7 day period will show only the original view on the list.</p>

<p>6. What's the default order for profiles listed?<br />
Answer: On the Home and View More pages, profiles are listed in the order (most recent views with profile pics first). The View More page will also include an option to sort / view profiles by the most recent whether or not the profile has a picture as well as by distance when it's completed.</p>

I think it's a great feature and I'm glad that the site is under constant improvement.

Please consider adding the date that the profile was viewed. The value of the addition is reduced w/o a date. Thank you

Hooray. Our views are no longer being deleted. Working on Chrome, Safari, iPhone6. Thanks.

So all the deleted WVM profiles are all back , but now why is it if we have free members and SM blocked they still show up on our WVM list ??????

All our lost "who viewed me" came back today. Are they supposed to have the "dates" or "days ago" when viewed on them?

Ive looked throughout my whole profile , where do I find this feature?

Being new members to the site, we like being able to see who has viewed our profile. Like any new upgrade there will always be bugs to workout. But overall love it..

<p>We are continuing to work on the new <strong>Who Viewed Me</strong> feature and in particular the issue which causes Views to be randomly deleted from some profiles.</p>

<p>At this point it appears that only profiles where the <strong>Who Viewed Me</strong> feature <strong>was disabled and re-enabled</strong> are experiencing an issue.</p>

<p>If you are interested in using the feature, <strong>do not disable it </strong>(as a test) until this issue has been resolved.</p>

<p>We continue to review and appreciate your feedback and hope to have a resolution for this issue soon.</p>

the new Who Viewed You is still sort of random and the profiles stay up for various times I can't see a pattern there ? the settings, distance /date ect don't stay set ? you have to save any you are interested in to friends immediatley if they interest you or they will be gone next you look lol.... I haven't seen any up dates yet so I suppose since it seems to work for some they are going to call it good enough and move on / its a great feature if it worked !! I'm afraid it will end up like the IM and be left as it is with some of the features never working consistently , just sayin....

We have IPhone6. An have a problem when we log in, the who view site deletes the profiles

The who viewed us keeps disappearing is there anything we can do to fix this?

Why to the peoples profiles, of the people that look at us stay only for that day?
They should be on longer. Like they have on other sites.

Whoever views me disappears once I close out. Are they being deleted somehow? I don't get to see them but the one time. What's up with this?

Each time I log in, the Who Viewed Me is blank. It happens with IE and FireFox, Windows 10.

I guess all of we can is just have sit back and wait for the next update to correct the WVM issues.

Having the entire viewing history show up without prior consent -- wondering what other information you have stored away that might create a legal issue or be fodder for hackers?

New to the discussion... I like the feature, but at the same time, have reservations about it. At times, I (or my wife) will view a profile and it may be the next day before my wife and I can sit down together and look at it. If we want to later double check something in the profile the next day, does it now show that viewed the profile 3 times in 2 days? Legitimate reasons to view a profile multiple times in a short time period, but does it appear that we are "perving" the profile for a lack of a better word?

I have never seen anything on my screen that said "Who Viewed Me".

I changed my Explorer settings, then went out of site, signed off & reset browser. I still cannot see the who view me section on my home page?

I think it's a nice feature.....However...... 90% of the couples who view my profile, have singles blocked from viewing. Go figure!

Were on another swingers site and they have had the (who viewed me) for years, but they also give you a choice, under settings. I do not want people to know I viewed them, reason being is they might think were interested just because we looked at their profile. Please fix this. We are lifetime members and should have a choice.
