Who Viewed Me Feature PREVIEW

<p><strong>Update 6.9.16</strong></p>

<p>Dear Members,</p>

<p>We&rsquo;ve been working on an update to address the issue with the profiles being periodically <strong>removed from the Who Viewed Me list</strong>.</p>

<p>The update has been applied and we believe it should resolve this issue for most members.</p>

<p>If you were affected (your Views list was previously automatically reset) and currently have the Who Viewed Me feature enabled, the following should happen:</p>

<p><strong>- Previous views which were removed from your list should be restored (this data is being backed up during the Preview period in case of accidental deletion).</strong></p>

<p><strong>- Views should no longer be automatically reset / removed throughout the day.</strong></p>

<p>Please post here if you continue to experience this or any other issues with the Who Viewed Me feature - CustomerService and TechSupport will not be able to provide assistance during this Preview.</p>

<p>We'd like to thank everyone for your overwhelmingly positive and constructive feedback.</p>

<p>Below are some of the most frequently asked questions along with answers.</p>

<p><strong>--- Support ---</strong></p>

<p><strong>If your <em>Who Viewed Me</em> setting appears to turn off automatically / when you log in</strong>, please let us know which device (phone or computer) as well as which browser and operating system you are using. Also, do you experience the same issue when using a different browser? Please post these and other relevant information here. In order to provide assistance, we need to know the configuration where the issue is being experienced.</p>

<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> If using Internet Explorer, please ensure that the browser is set to load a new copy of each page every time it's visited.</p>

<p>a. In IE, go to the Tools menu > Internet Options > Settings Button > Select "Every time I visit the webpage" then click OK. This setting should be enabled before enabling or disabling Views in IE.</p>

<p>b. Microsoft Edge browser should not be used to Enable or Disable Views at this time.</p>

<p><strong>--- FAQ and Answers ---</strong></p>

<p>1. Does the Flyover (hovering over a profile) count as a View?<br />
Answer: No</p>

<p>2. If I Disable Views, will other members still see that I viewed their profiles in the past?<br />
Answer: Yes. Your profile is not deleted from other member's Views list if you disable the Views feature. However, new visits to profiles are not recorded / displayed while the Who Viewed Me feature is disabled.</p>

<p>3. How can I Opt out / Disable Views?<br />
Answer: Views can be Disabled and Re-Enabled by clicking the Settings (Gear) icon at the top right of the Who Viewed Me section.</p>

<p>4. How can I increase my profile Views?<br />
Answer: The <a href="https://www.swinglifestyle.com/forums/Successful_Swinging/Better_Profiles/forumid_1118/viewforum.cfm" target="_blank">Better Profiles forum</a> has a wealth of great ideas from other members on how to improve profiles to make them (and you) more interesting to members. Check it out.</p>

<p>5. If I view a profile 100 times during a 7 day period, how many times will my profile be listed on their Views list?<br />
Answer: 1. Repeated views from the same profile over a 7 day period will show only the original view on the list.</p>

<p>6. What's the default order for profiles listed?<br />
Answer: On the Home and View More pages, profiles are listed in the order (most recent views with profile pics first). The View More page will also include an option to sort / view profiles by the most recent whether or not the profile has a picture as well as by distance when it's completed.</p>

How do u see who viewed u

So where do I find the feature that shows me who looked at my profile?

We agree that a date stamp would be good!

My fly over no longer works, doesn't matter if who viewed me is on or off.

Will that elusive couple who's viewing me and blocking single men see that I tried to view them?

I like the new modal profile view and the Who Viewed me feature, but the flyover expanded view does not work anymore. That means every time we try to check on anything, we get spotted as a "viewer". Fixing the flyover view would help that.

need a way to delete list other than having to disable

Where's the tool or button that shows me who viewed me???

I like the feature very much. It would be better if you had a time/date stamp associated with each view

The next improvement should be to display the date and time the member last viewed you. Maybe under their member name.

I still like a part of a old version where it used to show number of times your profile have been viewed

Still getting views by SM and free members ..... why is this not addressed ? I know for a fact that this problem is a loophole via the mobile app since someone in customer service told us so..... so why isn't this being taking care of ?

Would it be possible to put the date viewed in this?

The who viewed me feature now seems to be working. Until this fix, we constantly were losing the list.

One improvement I'd really like to see is the ability to see when someone last viewed you -- and be able to sort by recent views. It give you more useful information than just seeing when a couple first viewed you profile. In the latter case, you never know if they've come back again, as opposed to just looking at it once. Any chance we can get this feature?

Like the new feature.

I am not certain how profiles that have couples blocked can still view other couple profiles or the same with singles blocked. If they don't want couples contacting them then they shouldn't be able to view those profiles. That makes us think they are just pic collectors if they keep viewing our profile but no way to view or contact them. I suppose you could just block those profiles. If a profile has no pics, then I would like to be able to select if I wanted profiles without pics to view my profile like the feature you have the option for Free members to view or not to view profile.

I would like a "interested" or maybe even a "not interested" selection. I would be great if we saw a green light or yellow light, or even red light for the profiles that viewed us so we kind of get things started if they are interested but haven't reached out. Like many have said, just because they view our profile doesn't mean interested and yes email and chat is a great feature but many people don't make the first move. It sometimes a flirt to get things moving. Pictures are great but really you don't get to know someone until you chat. Sad but true..we all seem to make assumptions and decisions by just the few pics on a profile... more than we actually read the profile or reach out to get to know someone. I don't see or doubt we ever see a "Who read your profile" feature.. :)

Give us a way to delete these that look.
Agree the worse part of the deal is people thinking jyst because someone looks they are intetested.. if someone looks ill look back does not mean i want them to contact.. if we are intetested we email.

Please consider putting date viewed on the WVM. That would be a big help. Thanks

I would say if someone looks three or four times they have some interest. If they interest us we right them to see if they are. That was not my point though.

If someone clicks on your profile, it does not mean they are interested ,that is what IMs and emails are for.

We love this new feature. It is great to know who is showing interest in you. The one thing we would like to see is a way to delete off of our who viewed us list profiles we are not interested in or that we cannot view because they are not interested in our type of profile.

Are you going to have a way to delete profiles individually on WVM or do we have to take them all off to get rid of ones we are not interested in ? like we have to do with the IM feature ? which is a pain in the ass to decide if you want to dump them all or not and lose the ones you want to save !!!

Trying to get used to it also shows the ones that I have looked at is that what we will always see as well? Otherwise keep up the good work Butch1943 ??

In my profile settings I am hidden from FREE Members. However, when I viewed a FREE member they can now see my profile and email me because of the WHO VIEWED ME feature. I don't like that. It shouldn't do that.
