Says all we need to know.. they are lazy, cannot think on their own, no creative minds.. etc etc. Amazing how some act on SLS!

We reported a profile of someone who actually used stock photos from an AD magazine of his alleged wife.. not sure what happened with that one, but he should be banned and not allowed to come back!

Many profiles use the cut and paste disclaimer that their content is their own. Realizing that the primary concern is institutions using our information for research, we recently came across another situation where another profile local to us literally copied and pasted from our profile to produce 2./3 of their own profile content. They didn't even try to wordsmith. Full sentences. Full paragraphs. Verbatim. We've sent a request to the profile owners that we're not ok with this. No response. Sent Admin a report that we're not ok with this. No response. A question for the community: how is this much different than someone stealing our photos for their own use? Are our words not also OUR OWN PROPERTY?? Those are OUR words. OUR humor. Borrow ideas from us and make them your own. We're fine with that, and actually encourage that in the spirit of being a community! But don't blatantly plagiarize MOST of our words and make your profile read almost EXACTLY like ours when you live 20 minutes away from us.
