Spam message

Just got another one from a different couple. Interestingly, they're coming from couples fairly close to us.

Got same message.

I just filed a ticket on the spammers hopefully something gets done soon..

We've received two so far. We're concerned.

@vabeach if there were some type of breach that included loss of personal information - hopefully not the case here - they would be required by law to disclose. If they chose not to that would be a different discussion.

We’re in the same boat with receiving multiple spam messages as referenced below and my 1 piece of advice would be to change your account password to something complex. This definitely looks like a compromise of some sort. Maybe just a few users or maybe something more widespread. Only the group operating the website can tell the scale.

I just came in to ask if others were getting these as well. Lo and behold, yes you are. Sent "help ticket" but......

Our spam came from a couple in Georgia. The message looked like yours but the website is different.

This smells real bad.

I reported both immediately but suspect its not them who sent it......which means what? SLS has been hacked and someoen is spamming IMs from profiles not of their own??? Hacked? What else could be going on?

This is what happened at SwapperNet before they went down.

Maybe SLS does not want to admit being hacked. I suggested a long time ago that there was sabotage at SLS

A paid member with a seemingly normal profile sent us a message with this:

"Find 1000's of real swingers naked & looking for sex . Today free registration to watch users & dating chat - (stupid web site)."

I reported the profile, but I'm actually wondering if maybe they didn't actually send it. Is it possible that this person has been hacked and someone is using their account to just blast garbage? We have never received anything like that before.
