SLS Meeting Cards

Thanks so much for coming up with these. When we hosted our M & G in Feb People commented on how hard it was to rem. everyone they met. Now they can just print these out and distribute accordingly. Keep up the good work!!!

Did that and it still didn't update... There's something quirky in that part of the code.

When you pick your 2nd picture make sure the correct "tab" turns green so you have one on 1 and one on 2...and makesure you update before trying to print...

Great idea. Running into a bug, though. Selecting the 2nd picture doesn't work and you end up with 1st picture either way.

(This is on Vista with the latest Acrobat reader plug-in)

Hello!! We just printed out a bunch of cards.. We like these better then the cards we created ourselves..Thanks. We also plan to buy the SLS stuff to hand out for door prizes at the SVMG .. Good Job Webbie !! Jeff N Dot

I am not familiar with vista print, but the pdf can be saved and sent for third party prints.

Wonderful - is there a way to create the output for a printing service like Vistaprint?

Ok updated the Adobe and it appears to be working fine. We just checked out the Shopping area wow NICE start are you planning to add more things like key chains and etc. We are planning on doing some shopping soon since we hold House Party's this would be a great way of giving away some door prizes, as well as Ice Breakers.

I think this is great idea. Its a way to let other swingers know your into the lifestyle.

Loved the card idea...that is great. We go to several clubs and will be taking this card with us.

Printing issues:

I too had the problem of nothing happening at all when I clicked create/print. I upgraded my Adobe Reader and it started working fine. Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

The door sign idea is something we can certainly add.

We've already started some new designs with larger pics and more text.

I think they are awesome. I also think the SLS logo should be just a bit smaller

Yes WE figure it out LOL. Agree the picture area would need to be bigger to see whom you are. It is great Idea and we are going to a party tonight with a hand full of cards. Great job keep up the Outstanding work in keeping the site up and doing new and exciting things.

We actually created something similiar to this a while back for us to have when attending dances.... Made it easier than trying to find something to write with or worse, hoping others remember you gave them your name. Ours is a bit different though because we have all the sites we're one listed, works better that way than having separate cards for each site.

Ok for us computor idiots -- I click on the create and print and nothing happen what did I do wrong I'm stumped.

For those with printing issues:

I've done additional test, on other printers, and have found a few causes. Do not allow the print routine on your computer to auto resize, Page Scale, rotate or center. Any of those can mess up the alignment.

We plan to create additional card types, with other options, such as room for more text and larger pictures.

there was a problem for a while with pics not displaying at times, that should be solved shortly.

As for caps on membernames, that is something that is really more of a site wide issue, but we might be able to allow the change here.
