He’s we were talking about the chat feature, not the IM we have apple products and it has never worked at all, we can see the members, yet there is no chat box, dialog, or even a place to enter any comments or wording as you can on any type of messenger app
I understood the question to be about chat room usage on Apple devices.... If there is a non-clunky way of doing it (Puffin is one way), we would love to know how.

They are currently working on the IM system I think, and the chat room works, but I believe it is web based only..... Someone please correct me if I am wrong. ~ N
Oops. Just double checked. The app was Puffin. Not pelican
The only way we were able to get Chat to work (and it was very clunky) on a iPad was to use an app called Pelican. Basically a browser that appears to emulate a pc environment.

So has the SLS chat feature ever worked? We have apple products are paying lifetime members yet the chat feature never has worked. Has anyone else ever had it work or is it just a worthless feature. Kind of frustrating.
