Single Males COUPLES Profiles

There seems to be far more "legitimate" couples profiles, but the female is totally unaware the profile exists.

There are also A LOT of "single" women who are really a couple looking for another single woman as a third. I don't see a lot of complaints about that.

True, then there are ones that are just fakes altogether! Post as couples, single women or men. People need to grow up.

<p>I see this issue was reported to the developers on 11/06/2020. I will follow up to try to see why it has not been fixed.</p>

Wayne one systemic problem is that in the Messages page, the icon for profiles without a default picture is shown as a couples icon (two gumbys, yellow and green).

The net effect is that many many many incoming messages appear to be from couples but are actually from Single Guys. So effectively SLS itself creates the impression that these single guys are masquerading as couples, when the guys aren't doing any such thing.

<p>Changing the gender of the profile does not effect any paid membership. A staff member has to change the gender. Someone can submit a ticket if they need that done. If you see a profile where the gender looks incorrect, you can report it and we will update the gender if we determine that it is incorrect. This is one of the most common updates we make. We change the gender of profiles dozens of times per day for people. It is very easy for us to do.</p>

Question for Wayne.

If someone has a life membership and they become widowed or divorced and wish to change their registration to single, or if single and get married and wish to have a couples registration, how does it effect their membership, if at all?

There also seems to be a number of cases where the profile is for a single male, clearly stated on their profile, but the couples icon appears in messages.

There are plenty of guys not being truthful about their relationship status, but it seems that some single guys are being victimized by a bug in the system.

There appears to be a significant number of Single Males posing as COUPLES. This is a form of basic disrespect and a significant trust violation.
