Your ancestors came to this land for the betterment of themselves. Somewhere along the line, you have forgotten this.

It doesn't matter.

I have gone into the queue several times to insure a horrible profile wasn’t approved. Refreshing and rejecting it 3 times. Be it racist hate speech, obvious bot, illiterate to the point of making no sense, etc.

I started keeping track of the names of the profiles I would insure were rejected, in the end, the powers that be and get the last say, approved them anyway further lowering the quality of this site.

I no longer bother approving profiles. If they don’t actually want to take my decision seriously they can waste their own time and not mine.

The rules, as spelled out by the rule makers, say that if someone communicates a thought for their tag line, and another two thoughts for essay questions, and they haven’t been blatantly offensive, we should approve their profile.
I don’t approve any of these type of profiles, but I don’t shit can them either because they meet the minimum requirement.

You've seen the profiles that make their way through the 'screening process' to live. We try to do our part, but clearly others don't. The result? SLS's CAPTCHA is at times more like #fuckitwhocares.

Why pay for CAPTCHA? WE are CAPTCHA.

I agree. And folks wonder why free members are so restricted. This site doesn't use CAPTCHA or anything similar irrc. They'd get overwhelmed with bots if free members could actually do something on here besides look around.

The profile approval page states that a profile can be approved if:

“Approve - this means the profile is OK as it is. There is at least a full sentence or thought for the Tag Line, and the first 2 essay questions“

I have a hard time approving profiles that meet these minimum standards, many of them appear to be generated by bots.
