@Navy: I see that in your preferences. Like I said, it was a few years back, besides, our age preferences are much wider than yours. We haven’t used it since one night we discovered roughly 98 percent were not even close to what we were looking for, so we clicked the little “x” on the right to collapse the section and do our manual searches.

It’s just the way it is. It only filters by Sm/couple/SF. For example, we have our setting as invisible to free members yet free members regularly show up on our “random/newest matches”

Nope. Not even based on age settings. Just had a random match with a couple 27/24.
Yeah, it’s not the best, maybe one day they can fix it, yet it was established a few years back in the forums that “Random” and “match” is an oxymoron; that’s what you get based on, IIRC, a 50 mile radius based on your age settings.

Forgive me if this is answered somewhere else but why aren't the random matches, actually matches? I have my preferences set to no smokers and 30 to 60 for age range but always have "matches" that do not match my preference settings.
