Since tech support deleted their post, can anyone tell me what the standards for a profile pic are. We turned gumby with our previous one, which for what worth, didn't actually show anything. Naked but covered where it matters. I tried to load a fully clothed front facing pic with my face covered with a hat this morning but we are still gumby... what am I missing.
It took almost 2 hours for ours to go away
It is worthwhile to note, that 40 minutes after my previous post, which was AFTER I deleted all public gallery pix except two, and chose a new default picture, my post above here in the forums still shows the old default photo which is one that was deleted.
Well, we did not go all the way to "gumby mode", but our public pix just had a drastic reduction.

3 weeks ago I was doing some and noticed that I had a message..,.. 66% correct responses . If I get much lower I will be removed from pic approval.
At that point I Unsubscribed.
So there is a green banner when I just logged in asking lifetime member to re rate millions of public pics for the launch of the mobile app and when I click on the link it says "access has been removed due to lack of accuracy rating the pictures"

Y'know, this would have been a lot easier if SLS had just written the app so that photos are not automatically added when they mass-populate the app database. Then leave it up to the individual user to add the photos they want on their profile in the app, WHILE FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS FOR APPROPRIATE PHOTOS THAT SLS IS APPARENTLY KEEPING SECRET.
You can't tell me that this is impossible.

So we now are at risk of our pics being out in the open air thanks to the app stores, is that correct? WTF is the point of having a profile if you don't have pics? No way in hell do I want our pics readily available. Is this how all sites are run? Seems like it's time to shop around and get the fuck out of Dodge.
I’m just glad I stumbled across this topic while the post was up.
Good info to have. I don’t want any of our photos (child friendly or otherwise) showing up on Google Play, iTunes, or anywhere else like that.

So...SLS is moving into venues where our default photos can be viewed by the public at large, including children.
And...
Apart from blurring the faces, the default photos must be of our entire front.

Taking the side of caution is usually the best choice, but we don't understand the headless torso either. You see them on shopping websites and in many clothing departments.
They forgot to add open toed shoes and bonnets to the list (just in case an Amish kid might be peeking).
Another adult website, Fetlife, also has an app available. Why can’t SLS do the same?
