There is a person from Ft Lauderdale on Linkedin who is a software engineer that lists himself as the Chief Mobile Architect and Owner of swinglifestyle. 1 million members doing 4 million a year.
Profile header information
Nope he is not the owner.. its listed under a Florida Corp and owner easy to find if you know where to look .
Wayne,
To your earlier response of 6 hours ago, who is "THEY". We had always assumed you were the owner and moderator of the SLS site. Is that not correct?
Totally nitpicking. Most times hot dates don’t work. Most times hot dates have to be approved. If tge sites running horrible then it’s hard to post a hot date. We travel back and forth to 2 states regularly. And reviewing? Yeah we list our ability to do tgat cause we actually took the time to do it right. But at the end of the day, it’s all about excuses and no one cares.
Lets be honest.. what you said is nitpicking what some want like Daytona area.. and Valentines Day.. this is a swing site!
Whoever makes those nitpicking rules, took away lifetime members approving ones own profile and photos .. sorry our opinion and many others on SLS is thats nitpicking!
Yes Wayne we do thank you for helping us out on photos ration etc.. but its things that should flow smoothly without you and other being involved with responsible adults.
Sad Wayne.. the old way was much better with members allowed to approve. and change profile and add photos whenever.. . wastes your and others time.. I dont see a lot of swingers intentionally going against FOSTA on sls intentionally and those that do can somehow be flagged vs punish all the other members.
But its their web site so they make the rules

Since FOSTA, we manually review every profile text edit and there are 1000s a day. Around holidays, we will have hundreds of extra ones that say, "Happy New Year" or "Merry Christmas", etc... So the goal of the policy is to cut-down on profile edits.

Given the purpose of the profile text, does putting that in your profile really cause anyone to want to meet you that wouldn't have met you before? It's just a set phrase that we use in our language to say "Hello" once a year, depending on the holiday.

As far as other dates, If you live in Texas and change your Tagline to "Traveling to Daytona Beach", no one in Daytona beach is going to see it and what are the odds of someone else near you in Texas seeing it that is also going to Daytona Beach at the same time? Just create a Hot Date with the location in Daytona Beach or change your profile location to Daytona Beach temporarily.

Hilarious... just Hilarious.. i I thought this was an adult swinger site ?
Absolutely ridiculous. Can’t do this can’t do that. Feel like we’re in kindergarten. WTF is wrong with putting a holiday in your header. You know what’s funny. Most people, the first thing they do when talking to others, is ask to chat outside this site. It’s horrible.
Although I think I can understand the reason for this, meaning what "they" are trying to avoid, it is too f^ckin funny...
So wishing people Merry Christmas or Happy New Year which are all dates is no longer allowed? Is this becuming a WOKE site?

To give you an honest answer:

They have decided that they do not want any references to dates or locations in profiles. Valentine's Day is a specific date. That is why it was rejected.

Nope, no location was mentioned. Just mentioned that we hoped everyone was ready for Valentine's Day
Our header was once rejected because it stated a location ( we were traveling). We were told that should be a hot date.
Our header profile was recently deleted for no apparent reason. The management of this site is becoming increasing intolerent about descriptions, labeling, and just a welcoming line about future celebrations. It would be better if the SLS management would first inquire to the member, asking what the intent of a header message was BEFORE they start the deletion process. We know the rules placed on members here and in no way violated those regulations.
