Stop making excuses and fix it dude. A week to figure out why something people are depending on and paying for is unsat. Any other place you’d be fired. What are these people working an hour a day? Seems the owners have no clue what they are doing as well as their site maintainers. This is the worst it’s been in since we joined years ago. Like many have said, all they do is make excuses. Anyone use any other sites in tge northeast that are decent please message us when they work. Heavens forbid we Wouldn’t want anyone to post anything helpful here.

We're now on 6 days of maintenance. SLS folks - please consult someone on how to do upgrades. Updating a web site should take 6 hours at most! I do this at work all the time with a much bigger system. If you can't find someone to consult then contact me.

Over the years, many SLS members & swingers have volunteered to give constructive info on how actual swinger members use the web site. Every credible business that relies on customers engages or surveys their customers about how to improve.
This web site ownership either doesn’t care what its customers think, or they believe they know more about what we want than we do. The Hot Dates being down for as long as they have is a perfect illustration.
Agree with Sorillo, the community is great, software horrible. Email went away years ago and I bet they will muck up hot dates in the name of “improvement” Wish they asked members what improvements should be made and then followed through. And, close to a week to do “maintenance”? WOW
I know we haven’t been members as long as some others, but I’ve never thought “this is a great web site” when using it. The user experience of some others are far better. What this web site has over others is more members in our area and where we travel to. My opinion is that the owners of SLS know this and count on the fact that being the most popular is justification for not improving the functionality and performance.
The irony is that the constant web site issues, the lack of understating of swingers, and “we know what you want more than you do” attitude is driving SLS members to other competing web sites, increasing their memberships. The popularity advantage is shrinking, and SLS’s own actions are the cause of it.
I wouldn't know where to go if SLS went . where do I do go then..this is a safe site for single women
@moekathy - completely agree. It's been downhill since we've been here and they've made it harder and harder for groups and clubs to even exist. The whole point of this site is for swingers to network and somewhere along the way that objective got lost.
I don't remember it ever being a great site. Since we joined, the constant theme has been slow deterioration and reduction of features. I remember when we first saw it, it gave me the impression of a site from the 90s.
The best part about SLS is the community here, which is better than any other LS site I've tried. Plus, it's easy to set up so you get the illusion of a total lack of bots and catfishers, at least in comparison to other sites.
But the software... oy vey.
I have been an unlimited member for many years and can never remember when it was great. It’s had problems for as long as I can remember. No other website I use, lifestyle or not, has these issues. This reminds me of a sports franchise that languishes year after year until finally it sells to an owner that will hire someone that knows how to run a sports team. Most owners don’t know squat so they get a management team around them that does. It’s a disservice to every paying member.
