Need Notifications for Messages

One can only hope these "upgrades" SLS is currently imenting will include notifications for messages.

It really is a chore to try and carry on a conversation via SLS unless you stay right on the current message. Otherwise you have to constantly refresh or watch for an IM notification in the header .A pop up would be nice.

Agreed. Not sure why this is so difficult.

I agree, They used to send an email to my regular email when I got a message on SLS. Sometimes I am not on for a few weeks and the people think I am ignoring them...I just didn't know I got a message

LovinFun, it’s unlikely we’ll see it. I think the number one request is probably a fully functional messaging system, but that kind of died with the removal of the actual email system some years ago. Most of us have become adept at utilizing workarounds per the support team though.

We do submit tickets, but nothing really comes of it. Generally I get a response of there’s no issue or it’s something on my end or some steps to workaround the issue. In this case, refresh the browser to see if there are new messages

I submitted a support ticket yesterday.

I think we need several people to click at the top right question mark icon and submit a support ticket for this to be heard.

I doubt we’ll see this if it hasn’t been implemented yet. You can try submitting support tickets and see what they say.

We need Notifications for messages.
I understand notifications for emails/messages disappeared when new message were introduced.
Why are we forced to check for messages on the app or web like we are in1980s?
This is not complicated to do and will make life easier for us users.
I know this is not complic, because of what I do for a living.
All apps and boards have this now.

Is this board monitored by the Dashboard team?
