Messaging completely down again for the weekend. We're trying to answer received messages from earlier for our Hot Date tonight and nothing is sending...

Messages not working on a Saturday, hiw could that be a problem? SMH

Was able to open Messenger a short time ago for 4 messages I had. Just went back to it and all I get is the spinning wheel. Cum on people. Fix the damn thing!

its the weekend, perfect time to do maintenance on messaging system.... Im only here for SLS radio.....

So do the developers speak Chinese or Russian lol..

<p>Yes, due to requests, I asked the developer to add the banner this morning. Last week, we got a lot of negative feedback about the banner, so this time I told the developers to hold-off on adding it.</p>

Well,. It took 5 days but they finally put the banner up. Thanks for being so stubborn about doing the bare minimum to communicate with your user base.

Can the message counter be simply put back to how it was?

I wonder why they don't put up a banner, as they did when the Hot Dates weren't working, to tell everyone the Message Counter function isn't working and to manually check your messages to see if you have any. Seems like a simple solution until the counter gets fixed and it might cut down on the posts in here. Keeping your paying customers in the dark is not a good practice.

Ours has nothing now, looks completely normal and it indicates we don't have any messages. I opened and we do have messages, even though it says we have nothing new.

Today....What a mess this website is!

@onehorny an they rates their rates an expect people to put up with a less then par site lol. It’s become a joke. People will move on as we have already seen in the last few years. People we would see regularly an chat with gone.

Not working again this morning. I get Recipient Name showing and won't load a message or the profile name. Also showing a 1 on the message but what is showing is the last thing I responded to the person.

Can you please get someone that knows what the fuck they are doing to fix this correctly???????

Somehow you guys broke it some more ... Have a message from a couple I've been chatting to. When I click on it, it doesn't pull up their profile name and our message logs.

When I go to their profile and click message from there. I can send a message, but when I return, there is no record of any of our previous conversations.

Can you roll back whatever it is you are doing? It just seems to be breaking the site. It worked before lol!

SLS Wayne: There really needs to be a "Banner or Notice" telling people to check messages regularly. I have replied to several received messages with No Reply... bc I assume the members haven't checked for "New" messages... Frustration !!!

@BiginQueens I agree with you 100%, it is better than nothing I guess we just need to have patience and to check our messages manually.

@Wayne I understand you have a lot on your plate and I can't imagine what you go through ...

I actually preferred seeing a red number alerting me of how many messages I have rather than nothing. Because it looks like I have no new messages so I naturally wouldn’t check it.

<p>I know it is not perfect, but now you know there is temporarily no counter, so you can click on Messages to check them. That only takes a split second. </p>

IMO it's a disservice to not add a banner alerting folks that the bubble won't show up and they need to check manually.

Techie Wayne, the problem is not knowing that you have messages and they go unanswered so we have to manually check our messages.. until this problem gets fixed..
