I could only imagine the issues that would cause with the site operating properly. Better not be any gangbang videos either.

Many swinger sites have a Movie section for members to submit videos....Would love to see that on this site.....

We have the red "Undefined" bubble over our Messages tab. It is there, on the top right part of my screen staring at me as I type this.

I went to my messages, and there is not one unread Message. I scrolled to the bottom, clicked on "Load more contacts", and still no unread Messages. Which is a relief since I was hopping there weren't old Messages we hadn't replied to where the sender thought we simply ignored them. At the top of the page, it says "You do not have any messages".

Yeah since clearing ours everything’s large size now. Really? Gotta love all this BS and tge excuses.

They definitely seem to have some capacity/performance issues. On the Login page it tells you how many members are currenly logged in. I haven't really kept track if we see more issues when the number of members is higher than normal. With the holiday coming up, I suspect that's the case. I just logged out to see the current number and it was just under 6K members logged in.

I cannot believe that only .01% of SLS membership is having any problems on this site. Todays issue is that pre Thanksgiving Day holiday the site is sooooooo incredibly slow that its like watching paint dry here. Is it your equipment, software or what? The natives are getting restless out there!

Not sure if you needed/wanted to clear your Cookies when you cleared your cache. Doing so means that some of the sites you used may now not remember your settings. For example, if you went to a weather site, it may not remember your city/town. A big box site that you shop online at may now not remember what your deafult store was, and there are a host of other things. I generally try to avoid clearing my Cookies/Site data if I can.

I was able to clear the undefined on my messages by clearing my catche. See how to below for others to use.

How to clear cache on iPhone: Clear browser cache
Go to Settings (the app with the gear icon). ...
Scroll down until you see Safari. ...
Tap on Clear History and Website Data.
A message will appear warning you that clearing your cache will remove history, cookies and other browsing data.

<p>No, I am not suggesting that at all. 99.99% of our customers are having no issues. I am suggesting that the tiny fraction of our customers who are having this issue on their end or going to have to do something on their end to correct and I am trying to help you with that. </p>

<p>Submit a ticket with whatever issue you are having. The "undefined" issue is fixed. I checked your account and it is no longer showing. I have personally checked every single account that has been reported to me as showing "undefined" and all of them are working right and none are showing "undefined". </p>

Are you suggesting all members are going to need the clear their caches to fix the problem you created. Get Real

<p>You do have two unread messages. Go to your messages, scroll down to the bottom and select, "Load more contacts". Do that a total of 3 times and you will see the unread messages. They were sent by aother member on 04/22/2022, which is why they are so far down on your list. There most likely was a block in place that now has been removed, which is why you are now seeing them.</p>

<p>How did you do the reload? Clearing your browser cache should correct it. You can try that.</p>

Wayne I tried the browser reload. I still have the issue. I turned the phone off and on.
Any other ideas?

No. No it isn't. I find it both insulting and amusing that SLS staff seem to think they know more than all of their users, when they continually demonstrate the opposite.

I can guarantee my 'technical knowhow' far, far exceeds that of the staff here. Including, apparently, their developers, and certainly Wayne's. I'd have been fired many years ago if the bugs frequently appearing here ever made it to live sites I'm responsible for. Dev and UAT are things... for the rest of the online world. Alien concepts to SLS staff, apparently.

And FWIW, we've had at least one message totally vanish recently before having a chance to reply to it. Issues go beyond just the counter irritation.

My Message counter works, but it says I have 2 new messages when I do Not have any new messages....SMH

I still have undefined in the message circle. I have an I phone 13. I closed the browser. I shut the phone off. And restarted. Still the same undefined. Any suggestions?

<p>The message counter is fixed. I have personally verified that it is fixed and working properly. If you still see "undefined", you need to have your browser reload the page. You may need to lookup how to do that on your particular device. On Windows, it is SHIFT + F5 within the browser. In Safari on Mac, I believe it is COMMAND + F5. On iPhone, you can tap in the browser window, hold and pull the browser down (swipe down) to refresh. On Android, you can do a long press on the 3 vertical dot icon in the upper right corner of the browser.</p>

<p>Basically, if you are still seeing "undefined", your device is most likely still using data from your local cache and you need to load the new version of the page.</p>

Hmm, with no definitive timeline for fixing the message counter, why not keep the banner up indicating the Messaging function is still not working ? BTW, what does "undefined" supposed to mean?

People said this would happen when they got rid of mail, and here we are.
Can anyone name a single feature they've introduced in the last 3 years that adds value or works? The Wall? Messages? What about the friends section that has for almost two years that has claimed it will be highly utilized in SOON TO COME features? Any day now....
We've dramatically scaled down our presence here because of all the problems.
