Same for us. A red zero.

Same here, 0 in a red bubble, however, we had a message. Wife’s phone still says undefined. I reset my phone to get that to go away, then has to re-enter passwords on all my sites that require them and lost half of my work emails. This site runs worse than the biden administration. That’s pretty ducking bad!

Our message notification went to a 0 from a 1. When it was 1 we had no message and when it was zero we did.

No message here. So the 0 is at least accurate

Got one message showing that I already read and also 3 Alerts from last October. WTF

I too have one new message in the counter but none in queue (and, yeah, I've looked at the entire however many pages).

No, I'm not inconveniencing myself by clearing out all of my useful stuff in order to make this website less annoying.

Same here. It shows 1 new message, but I have none. I was all excited for a second. LOL

The issue is the problem was never fixed despite Wayne's arrogant replies. Caching images are bad code. There are easy ways to prevent them. Shouting that people need to continually clear caches isn't the answer.

If their coders need help with a simple solution... Random numbers are a good clue.

But I'll leave it at that. I only really posted as I find the defensive, frequently uneducated, and often insulting replies from SLS staff to posting customers, annoying.

MESSAGING IS ALL FUCKED UP AGAIN!

We have a "1" in the message counter, but none of our messages will load now.

Messages may be fixed, but Hot Dates are still a mess. We have some for the weekend as we’re going away and the listings are a jumbled mess. They used to be organized by distance/location and now appear to just be randomly ordered. Some far away are near home and some close by are hundreds of miles away.

Yeah, my phantom red dot with the 1 went away all by itself too.

We had the 1 message red dot then it just disappeared.

We had the "undefined" message, cleared the cache and it disappeared... Now we have 1 message but nothing there even if we click to see more ....SMDH....

I just now got a new message, but when I checked, there was no new message. Scrolled to the bottom, sorted by online/offline, nothing. Weird.

Not a Message, but the weirdest thing I saw recently was a couple appeared to be posting a Hot Date near us. I responded and heard nothing for a while. When I went to check their profile to see if they had been online, they appeared as being a Md and not NH.

They wrote back and said they never posted a Hot Date. My guess is that someone local to us did, and it somehow associated it to this other couples profile. Some strange shit.

@hiway, I think the majority of users would rather see the basic functionality of SLS work the way it’s supposed to, before the owner/developer goes off another feature tangent. It doesn’t appear that the infrastructure of SLS as it currently exists could handle videos.

On a follow up (and related) note, my red “undefined” bubble has gone away. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a red bubble with an actual number in it this morning. So that seems to be resolved.
