Very well could be because they were trying to join our group and likely didn’t want us to know they sent such a message. We’ve removed them now, but that behavior should be a violation of TOS one would think.
<p>They probably blocked you. Most likely, they sent you messages and then blocked you before you ever saw the new messages and then recently unblocked you.</p>
We did find it Wayne and while we don't recall blocking them, we can see by the threats they leveled in their message why we would have! Just wow!

<p>The unread messages are there. Scroll down your page and select, "Load more contacts". Then scroll down that second page and you will see a profile with an '8' by it. The messages are from Oct. 2021. I'm guessing a block was removed so now you are seeing old, unread messages that you had not been seeing because of a block. </p>
For the last two days we’ve had 8 messages in the notification bubble but no new messages actually there. Is this another glitch or is there anyway to reset it. We re hosting n event this weekend and it’d be nice to have the IM up and working. Anyone else have ghost messages going on?

<p>The unread message was there. It was about 6 pages down on your message list and was from September of 2021. The person most likely blocked you after sending the message, so you never saw it and now they just unblocked you. </p>
I have had a red number #1 indicating that I have a message. When I open my messages there is no new message??
