It’s not coming back. 7 days to fix a bug? No status update since?

SLS is slowly killing the excitement of interacting with potential play partners.

Are you bringing this back, or is it just another “positive” upgrade??

Or, more like craigslist! Definitely going the wrong direction!

How long will it take for SLS to just become a want ads service ?

That is Exactly what Management is doing. Limiting the communication.
That's Why we joined; to communicate with swingers. This site is going the way of Myspace, AOL & Yahoo instant messaging.

Makes me wonder if SLS owns the other sites too and is just trying to quash this one so they only need to maintain one.

Mine vanished 4 days ago. The response I got from SLS wasn't very encouraging.

Those sites already exist. They unfortunately don’t have as many members in our area or where we travel to

They just want paid or lifetime members to move to a site with a lot less restrictions, and a lot more member friendly

This is a very frustrating to be without this feature!
It is very unattractive to be a stalker and keep checking profiles the alternative is time consuming- running through your friends list every time you want to check if someone is online in order to have a live chat with them.
This wasn't just a "convenience" it is a necessity.

Yeah, I lost it too. Not to mention the new messaging system is absolutely horrible!

I can’t think of another company more out of touch with its customers, and less interested in what they want.

I'm guessing that six months from now, the only functions that will still be working are picture rating and Bliss Cruise ads!

Yep. I think we all figured as much even before acknowledgement of the "bug". They're dropping like flies.

The photo editor went down due to a bug around 8 years ago. It remains down.

Given how SLS has been run, it’s the obvious conclusion.

They were aware of a lot of issues that they didn't care about in the past. There's a consistent pattern of services losing functionality that seems to be pushing members to download the app. Feels like yet another in a long list of them, in fact.

Hope that's not the case, but the silence from SLS isn't promising.

its not coming back.... lets just realize this and move on to the next feature that will be missing soon......

The mobile expand button still works though.

I don't blame Wayne. I work customer service too, and I know that in that type of job, you sometimes have to parrot the company line, instead of saying what you truly think. I'm sure he's telling us all he's allowed to. I actually sympathize with him, because I hate bullshitting my paying customers too.

Good point, but am not sure Wayne should be singled out. If the owners/managers of the site articulated their game plan then everyone might understand why changes take place. Keeping us all in the dark just creates animosity and lack of support. We get it, you want the app to be a winner. Just don’t lose all the support from loyal members who want what was the product. Email and friends IS important to a sizable number of what have been loyal supporters!

It's been a couple of days now, and still nothing. I re-read Wayne's post, and I find it funny that while he says the admins are aware of the issue, he says nothing like "they are working to restore the Friends feature", or "it should be back up soon". Please just be honest with us, Wayne, is the Friends function gone forever, like the Mail function?

You notice nothing ever happens to the Bliss advertising. I wish that would disappear

Yet another how can we piss off paying members move by management. Some of us don’t use “social media” apps on our phone because of security (read, business) reviews. So, once again . . . . . management stop mucking up the website!
