Free members are a waste of website space. They only serve the website to say we got a Gazillion members . The website recently deleted all old emails just to make space.
Free members are useless.

The last time I recommended this sit was just after the ban.
The last time I dissed this site was this week. I keep hoping, faintly that the owners will wise up. This used to be a great place for fledgling newbies to hang out.

SLS performed that function for us. After we committed we signed up for a paid membership as one of the first concrete actions. This was only after having the prolonged "what if" conversations and negotiations within our household. The contacts and information from this site helped us screw up the courage to jump in.

That usefulness has now gone.

AthenaPower, Simplest to not waste time with free members is to block them, the way your convenience does not inconvenience those of us who would like to be able to contact one.

If there is no way to contact them and for them to contact us, then why have their profiles active?

The restriction on free members is only saving the rest of us from wasting our time on even more fakes than have paid memberships.

I'm a lifetime member and feel I should be able to send free members email that they can open & respond to. I've also met a free member that I had met before these BS changes and they told me that they could no longer open up my pictures. They are G rated pics and can't be viewed. Then, I'm asked to rate pictures to help the site? Umm, nope. GFY's

If free members can not read or reply to emails, is there a way to contact them? Will the IM feature work?
