Group Management

As a group owner, I finally made my first entry on The Wall, when friends posted that they couldn't see groups anymore. I knew they were using the app and not the website, so I tried to answer basically saying: "It's because you're using the mobile app. If you use the new mobile app, you won't be able to access the forums or bulk mail. Remind everyone to logon to the website at least once a week, so you would be able to know if we scheduled a house party and there was an invitation there."

I received a warning and the reply was not posted, because we can't use The Wall for house parties.

So yeah, we run absolutely free house parties by invitation only, for friends, and can't be trusted to use any means to quickly get a msg out to friends. Doesn't make a lot of sense. If the msg is only seen by "Friends", and everyone on The Wall is invited, what's the BFD?

How about a little trust for Group Administrators. Sometimes we need to send out last minute emails updating the group attendees on the weather, new covid rules or reminders to bring snacks. With SLS having to review all of the emails (not messages) before they are sent is a little too big brotherish and horribly inefficient We know we can't say anything about money, etc. Either have someone on call over the weekend or let us go and penalize us on Monday morning.
