<p>Some gift cards may need to be registered online before you can use them. You can also try using the "Backup Credit Card" option on the My Account page which will process the card using a secondary billing agent. That may work for you.</p>

That's unfortunate. I imagine something has changed with the processor. Regardless of the occasional IT hiccups, I can't remember any for payment methods in the past.
I'd just use my normal card for SLS, and save the gift card for some regular purchases.

Gift cards don't always work for some online transactions, depends on the site's credit card processor.
I'd suggest you just use your regular credit card. Shouldn't be a problem.
Trying to use a vanilla visa gift card to pay for subscription but keep getting error with a bunch of red numbers and letters across top of page. Not error message. Checked the card and it’s activated and has funds. Have used this before. Help!!
