Fake profiles

Certs are meaningless. We do not rate who is of interest to us based on certs. A lot of people ask for certs, as we have had people on here and other sites ask us for one.... even if we never played with them. We have also been offered certs if we give them a cert, and we have talked to people who admit they have fake certs. We have met people with lots of certs who were total assholes, and played with a few who were lousy lovers.... all contrary to what their certs said about them All a cert means is that that person or couple clicked with them and is no guarantee you will click with them. In some cases, it just means the assholes found other assholes to play with, and the lousy lovers found people of equal limited skills in bed, lol.

Fake certifications
If someone were to write up a fake , false or hurtful cert on your profile, can you delete it before its shown publicly? Is that how certs work?
You get an email to proof read a cert before giving it an OK ? idk

No need to worry....This di not happen toy any of us! I was told earlier this week by one of the Tech staff (I won't mention his name) at SLS that there are NO fake profiles or flakes on SLS. Trust me, I am not making this up. So, according to SLS, apparently all of us on here who have experienced this problem, the flakes and fakes, did so in the outer reaches of our imagination.

It's NOT okay under the Terms of Service to call out a specific profile like that, even if he IS a douchebag. Your post is liable to get nuked by management if you put his profile name up.

We think we know of one guy with such great Certs that one would think he must be a Greek god and mans gift to women. We noticed his profile because he had posted in travel that he was going to be in our area, problem is, where he told us he was staying there is no such place. So is it ok to post a name on here?

I saw a profile last week that was from ????Florida???? I didn't open it.

I had a job once where it took me 4 years to visit every Publix grocery store in the entire state of Florida, from the Keys to the Panhandle and I don't remember driving through Four Question Mark Florida Four Question Mark

Y'know, you'd probably have had more luck if you'd put more effort in your profile and photos. A 2-3 sentence profile with a couple of quick bathroom selfies isn't a recipe for success.

Must be lots of fakes in Maine.. We've met plenty of real people on this site in many areas we have visited (doesnt mean we played with all of them). Although we have two certs we haven't received a deceiving cert. If someone offered a cert for "just meeting for a drink" we would turn it down.

I don't think certs are BS. I don't think any rational person would look at certs and think "these people want to fuck me now!" I'm not saying that abuse of the system doesn't exist, but the system can still be useful for many people.

Also, just because people meet, but choose to not play, doesn't make them fake. We don't play the the majority of folks we meet for drinks. We love our "happy hours", so when someone suggests meeting with no expectations, if it's convenient to everyone, why not? There's a good chance that we may not end up naked together, but we make that clear from the beginning. We don't have to end up in the middle of an orgy every month to be real.

Certs are absolute BS. It does nothing other than lead you believe that the people are successful on this site, in actually hooking up. This site, like the others are full of people that "think" they want to swing, but rarely, if ever, actually do. As well as many fake profiles.

No, certs are not for "playing." Certs are for verifying that you know these people and that they are real.

sorry CERTS are BS too. Many in our area give each other CERTS just for talking with each other, breathing, having lunch or dinner and NEVER playing.. you want to see who we play with and what we do, meet us and we open our photos.. Our ONE Cert was from a recent BOGUS Swingers party in NOLA ..we wrote an entire post about the scam they pulled and many out of towners were pissed.. you paid, everyone got a CERT. This party place is well known with a ONE STAR on SLS. We have been swingers way before SLS and never have we seen so much BS, fake people. no shows, wanna bees, etc as on SLS.

this is why CERTS are so important.. i even 'cross reference' the certs...some people open several free profiles and cert each other back and forth....first hurdle is PAID & CERTS..!!

In the last couple of days while approving profiles I bet I have flagged at least 100 of these profiles.

Only seen one as you described in my area during last month or so.

Has anyone else noticed in there area a bunch of what I am guessing are fake profiles. When I look to see who's online in my area I've been seeing a lot of single women with no info in there profiles only advertising some website.
